Ya know....a lot of the memorable threads were wars, as is usually the case...

But people, VJ is a very compassionate and extremely caring place when we need it too. We have yelled and ranted together and been in hysterical laughter together - but we have prayed together and cried together too.

2 particular threads come to mind under that heading, one was when one of our members gave birth very pre-maturely and her baby didn't make it and another time, ironically it was the same, when another member's grand-baby was born pre-maturely (not mentioning names to avoid opening the wound again) and struggled and fought for weeks to survive before finally succumbing. We here on VJ prayed with and for these members and cried our hearts out along with them. (L)

Got a great bunch of people here who support each other, root for each other and applaud each other and send MOJO when it's needed and even slap one another upside the head when the need arises.

(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F) for VJ!

I have lots of nice stuff to say, just sometimes people get on my nerves and I let them know. And I was only joking with you, you never have a sense of humor about anything. :P

chucky you dont know me at all. Those that are my friends know I have a very good

sense of humour. It seems its easier to talk dubage, than to get to know someone. :(

since being on VJ for almost 1 year. I met some really cool people and have formed real friendships. enjoyed the meet-ups, gift giving experiances during the holidays, and simple everyday chin ups.

Well you don't know me at all either Shon, so follow your own advice and don't say that I have nothing nice to say, cause I'm a nice person I just don't take #######, and I have a sarcastic sense of humor :)

And Sharon, aint that the truth. I love you guys (L)(F)

Erm, where to start.

Wog, who seemed to be a very down to earth, kind guy, turned out to be quite something else.

He was originally from Australia, and I believe he returned after a failed marriage to an American gal in Missouri. He was having some serious adjustment issues and didn't really post about it until much later. He would linger around in chat and talk about what a hard time he was having and how he didn't want to dish out his dirty laundry on the forums and stuff like that. It turned pretty ugly when he started being very very freakish and obsessive about his wife and kept mentioning her in every post he'd make. Started dissing every American and "American" lifestyle. Talking down to people just because they were the USCs.

Oh and I do believe there was a short episode where he was trolling around under a different username.

It all kinda fell apart when his wife finally chipped in and told HER side of the story.

I'm sure some members have links, I can't be bothered. I kept quiet through most of it, but it was really strange to see that transformation because I honestly do think he was a good kid. Just very heartbroken and I guess at some point, he snapped.

Oh god kc, where to start

Well he got married, moved to the US, some southern state, can't remember. Anyway supposedly his wife was horrible to him, wouldn't file his AOS papers. He leaves, goes back to Australia. Hates her and does nothing but post his sob story and about how ugly AnnMarie (that her name?) was but he loved her anyway cause she had a good personality, then decides he hates Americans, puts us down every second. Starts being a real ###. Then starts making posts to his wife in his posts about other stuff. They'd be at the bottom of his post in italics even if he was posting about something completely different. Then his wife comes on, tells her side of the drama and blah blah. It was always him whining everywhere and saying bad stuff about Americans and southerners. I'm sure someone can find some threads he posted in

LOL Swirls and I had the same thought at the beginning

Thanks. This seems pretty sad. He said/she said can get pretty ugly.

Haha. Yeah, it was one of the longer lasting drama episodes on VJ, wasn't it? :P

He was really weird later on, "hidden" messages to his wife and stuff in non-relevant threads, because he knew she was reading on here sometimes.
