That is the great site provided above... The officer just asked me 5 questions..

presidency

constitution

amendments

colonies

The officer will ask you to write..he will dictates 1 sentence, you have to listen carefully and write it down in the paper.

Just read the flash card several times and you will be fine.

Spend 15 minutes a day at least answering question in the Naturalization Self Test.. Actually this test is challenging for me because they have a score percentage everytime you take the test..

where is the writing & reading test? I know how to spell but what's the hardest word they have there.

M-476 has an appendix with common English phrases that may be helpful, my wife is accustomed to medical terminology that I can't even pronounce let alone spell, so she had no problems in writing down, "I am a very good cook." LOL

I compared the questions in the M-476 with the Civics study guide, and several I downloaded off the net, all the same, but know your president, vice president, chief justice, two senators, and your governor's full names, and the city of your state capitol.

A week before, we were practicing on naming the 13 colonies and the four amendments that were dealing with voting, but the serious study did not begin when we started our four hour trip to the field office. Only one person here was asked to name the 13 colonies, I didn't feel she would be asked that question because is difficult for the questioner to keep track of 13 names in any given order. But she was asked to name our governor and the city of our state capitol, the other four were the easy ones, who becomes president if so and so dies, etc.

6 out of 96 questions is only 6.25% of the total number of questions, but you have no idea which ones will be asked. But out of ten questions, just have to get six correct. As everything was fresh in my wife's mind, could snap out the answers almost before the question was fully asked.

Big part of your English test is going over the N-400 application, would practice reading that out aloud and be very quick about that question about committing crimes you were never caught or arrested for. Wife snapped out a quick NO, but was asked that same question three times.

The officer will just dictate you a sentence for you to write. Not really hard but just to test if you can write or read english..

The trick of this like what Nick said is that, in the interview, the officer will ask you questions and you have to listen very carefully.. Some talk too fast, but if you dont understand, tell him and ask him to repeat it.

Goodluck, dont worry.. you will be fine..
