Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I used to like it a lot more when it was a world power, not a sissy like it is now.

I used to like the US when it had a good economy not ruins like it is now.

I used to like saying I was an American, when traveling abroad, and saying it proudly flashing that blue passport. Now that the rest of the world hates us, it takes a lot out of it.

I love it here, but I think I could love somewhere else too. I really like the fact that you can come here from another country and BE American eventually, if you want. I could live in another country all my life and never really belong there in the same sense.

I love it like anyone who wants to be happy in an arranged marriage would love it. I didn't have any choice in choosing where I live and I have little choice to live anywhere else. So, might as well like it. When I lived in Germany, I didn't really miss the US, so I think it really messes with my view here a bit.

You've got totoro in your avatar! I 'm in LOVE with Totoro....and the catbus.

Cause no other country is a melting pot/salad bowl like this one.

I don't love America but it's a nice place to work and live.I am an USC and I don't belong to any of those groups you listed.

July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well, they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit, nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !

I decided to reply because I found this poll interesting.

How many of you are actually MENSA members? I'm interested because I would love to have a VJ MENSA members meetup! MENSA meetings always turn out to be loads of fun. I've found that most highly intelligent people are crazy as hell

Why did no one say what other clubs or organizations they belong to?

I'm a member of Junior League, USTA, MENSA, ACF and a few more.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

There is an organization that serves as a counter to MENSA. It is for people with unusually low IQs. I am the President.

oops! I messed up my answers!

LaL do you belong to AJ's group? :P

Um, true story, I'm a lifetime member of Sigma Tau Delta. That's right. I'm an STD. And darn tootin' proud of it.

I only belong to professional organizations....America Council of Irish Studies, National Council for Teachers of English, Phi Kappa Phi, and a curriculum and development association. Oh, and Amnesty International and St. Vincent de Paul Society.

I thought the only people who joined MENSA were those who had an inflated sense of their own intelligence. However, I'm not much of a joiner so I don't know.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
