Question about interview!!!

Hello everyone! Do you think the fact that we are married but have not had a marriage in the church (ceremonial), but only by government marriage only...that this will effect our outcome in the interview? We plan on going back to egypt for a ceremonial marriage later when i can get my family to go over there and plan it out well. Let me know what you think, this question has me a little concerned.

no worries.. a marriage is a marriage... many couples get married in a courthouse. As long as you have the marriage certificate you will be fine

My husband and I got married in Cairo through Marriage court. We did not have a religious ceremony either. It has no bearing on the interview. It didn't even come up in the interview.

You shouldnt have any problems with that. Many couples are not religious and do not get married in a church but as long as you are legaly married it should cause you no problem.

Marriages legally performed are valid in the US. I don't see you have a problem.
