We got a rejection notice today for the I-765 EAD I sent in. They said the form I used was outdated. I read posts from others that had the same problem. I downloaded the newer form. Now, my question is on question 11 "Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from USCIS?". Is the answer now YES?

I'd think so. Attach the rejection notice so they know.

09/01/2010 - Case status appears online

11/08/2010 - Card production ordered

11/13/2010 - I-751 Approval Letter received

11/19/2010 - Green Card received in the mail

08/01/2011 - Filed for Citizenship (N-400)

08/03/2011 - N400 Packet received

08/05/2011 - Received email/text confirming application receipt

I'd think so. Attach the rejection notice so they know.

I went to the USCIS site and compared the form I-765 and they appear to be the exact same. Am I missing something or has the form here on Visajourney already been updated? :wacko:

Please look on the REVISION on LOWER RIGHT it should be 5/27/08 this is the newer revision to avoid any rejection

Please look on the REVISION on LOWER RIGHT it should be 5/27/08 this is the newer revision to avoid any rejection

I looked at it and the revision 5/27/08 expires 08/31/08. I have same question with what form to use coz we are planning to sent our AOS too end of this month too.

No, the answer is NO. Because your I-765 was REJECTED not DECLINED or APPROVED. It is like they just sent it back to you to correct a mistake without considering it.

05/03/2008 call to USCIS because NOA1 not received ;( Got the receipt number and was told that we cannot get replacement NOA1.

No, the answer is NO. Because your I-765 was REJECTED not DECLINED or APPROVED. It is like they just sent it back to you to correct a mistake without considering it.

That does make sense to me too, I think that's what I'm gonna do too. someone on a different topic keeps telling me the answer is "yes" but I don't see it. did you send the pics and passport copies again? or just the Noa for I-485 and NOA for the rejected I-765? good luck with everything
