This is an RFE. If you did request an expediate then this is a request for the evidence needed to approve an expediate an example would be if it is a medical then you would need to submit a doctor's note or something similar. Once USCIS receives it then your case would resume. Good luck.

If your expedite was approved 7 days ago, this means that they have started processing your case and they found information missing or incomplete. This will add a slight delay, but you can speed it up by calling the USCIS RFE line and trying to find out what the RFE is for. Get the evidence ready and prepare your response. Send back the paper work as soon as you get the RFE in the mail.

I would suggest reading the letter carefully even after speaking witth an operator, just to make sure you are replying and sending back everything they need.

You can either call the USCIS RFE line to find out what is needed or wait for the notice... I would call them!

from what i remember u had asked for an expedite over the phone and they had approved it right away for you...if i remember correctly, they never asked u for any evidence...i think thats what they are looking for now...evidence to prove that ur expedite request is legit...submit the proofs right away for a speedy approval..good luck to u!

he requested by phone, couple days later they sent him email stating approved. It seems to me they start processing your I130 and find out something is missing. You could call to figure it out or wait for the letter.
