Hi, all, we were so happy that he received his Visa, which I posted earlier, but now he is having a hard time now from his boss who is refusing to sign his paper releasing him from his job, which he needs to get the carta blanca...he is trying every day to get this papr signed, he had to go to the headquarters in Sancti Spiritus,(he lives in Trinidad) where they told him the paper will be signed, and his"director" refused again, so he is going back to Sancti Spiritus with a new paper that hopefully they will sign at headquarters. He was a security guard, so it is not like the professionals that they don't want to let out of Cuba fopr 5 years. This is very frustrating and he is about to speak to a lawyer down there. Once he gets this paper he was told that it will take about 30 days to get the Carta blanca. Does anyone else have similar problems? We are crazy now with frustration!
