Fight at your wedding reception

Nah.. Our wedding was a great experience for both of us.. We talked about differences but never really fight even before.. Thanks GOD! :innocent:

Anyway, I guess as they (your sis and her hubby) learn to adjust with each other's attitude and as they mature, the fights will be lessen.. Goodluck to both of them..

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

She needs to grow up.

On the other topic--Wedding Day = Bride's Day For one day, she gets everything she wants.

Because after that..... oh well, she doesn't.

Personally, if someone doesn't want to be there, doesn't like the wedding complains about food, wine, etc--well, the door is over there!

Surprisingly our wedding day went absolutely smooth, except for the hideous makeup I had to carry that evening :( , but thats a different story.

ok I admit it. We had a "discussion" at our reception. Someone approached hubby during the reception that there was no white wine, and asked him for money to buy some- during our reception! We had pretty much all the beverages one can imagine at the reception (including red wine and champagne) but this lady wanted white wine. So Hubby gave in and gave her one of the envelopes with cash we got for the wedding. She spent the whole $300 on expensive wine and no one but her drank it! :girlwerewolf2xn:

Hubby made the mistake of telling me, and there was my bridezilla moment! We have a great picture of me pouting, hubby looking slightly distressed and MIL trying to arbitrate between us.

hahaha oh my gosh! yeah that would have been a wonderful discussion between keith and i as well! $300???

Sounds like a really sad story... They're gonna be part of that overwhelming 50% of relationships that end up in divorce

No we did not fight.

Your SIL's husband sounds like a loser. She's probably a loser for marrying him.

pretty much. she's the kind of girl that goes for idiots, though. He claims to have self esteem issues and "feels like he will never be good enough" (his excuse for not wanting to find a job and stuff) so she felt she had to "save" him. Fourth guy she's had to "Save from himself" since I married her brother 3 years ago.

if she aims low, she'll achieve that.

at least when she's that low, she won't have far to fall ....

That was pretty crass for the lady to ask for money to buy white wine. I would have told her sorry, we must have run out, you can drink something else.

In reference to the original subject of the post, the couple seem to be both pretty immature. J.

19 and marrying in my opinion is a bit early. And at that age she shouldn't be "saving" anyone but herself! If the guy doesn't respect her now, he will respect her even less as the marriage goes on... or deteriorates.

My sister married at 19. Twenty-nine years and four kids later, they're doing fine. It's not the age per se. but the over-all maturity level of both parties, which some don't develop till much later, if ever.

yeah, my parents were married when they were 19/20 years old... they have now been married for about 35 years and have 6 kids... their marriage wasn't all roses and rainbows though at the beginning but they worked though it and are going strong now..
