Anyone ever heard of this? I called this morning to check on the status of our case. I know it's only been there since Friday but, well you guys understand. And now I'm glad I did. He told me it's just finishing up in "quality control" and he'd like to check some information. His exact words were "I'm sorry, but I'm assuming you're the petitioner and were by no means born in 2006?"

QUOIIIIII?

Now I need to Fax my birth certificate to the NVC to have it changed before they can finish quality control or whatever they do on it. I mean it's a small delay, I can do that from work, but still. Ouch. The guy was really nice about it though, and even asked me if I'd been reading visajourney or (can't remember the name of the other group he asked about) since I was calling in to check after 1 and a half days. lol. I suppose he hears about us alot.

Anyways this ever happened to anyone else? What kind of delay are we expecting? Should I have them check all the other info on my case?

Same thing happened to me!!! When I called to check if they had my case, the person asked my DOB and my fiancee's DOB. When I gave them my fiancee's DOB, they told me they have something different in their system. I asked if it was the day, month or year? They said it was the day??

So...they told me that I could fax his birth certificate or passport but I asked if I could just wait and have it changed when the case gets to the embassy. I told them that I prefer not to delay it at all. The person told me that was no problem....I could just wait...

Then.....I had to call back because I forgot to ask for the case number.....the next lady said the same thing and I asked her agin if I could just wait and show the embassy....she also said "no problem".

SOOOOOO....it looks like they have some data entry issues!!!!!!
