DS-230 & Case Completion

My 864 was entered into their system on 8/18 and the 230 on 8/22. Hope the AVR system has some good news for me in a few hours!

Same here, mine was received on 8/18. AVR hasn't updated either, I was hoping that at least the AVR would update to say they received it. Let's hope Mononoke28 is right and you guys start hearing "Case Complete" later this week or early next week, that way I'll know I'm not far behind.

biren ..i havent talk to NVC yet (cant get through with the phone) but i m sure its gonna be a week or 2 before i get the date...hope you get your case completed real soon....

after reading someone's post on here this morning saying that the AVR reported their case to be complete, i rang up the NVC rep to ask if when/if the AVR was going to change for our case--and to verify that it was actually completed on the 20th. The rep was so nice and she said indeed the case had been completed but couldn't say much for the speediness of the updates on the AVR. Maybe you are in the same boat?

could be, the avr was doing crazy things when the bill was finally generated (said aug. 6th and then changed to july 22nd). i will call later tonight i suppose.

I would hate an operator to tell me, " The answer has not changed since your call this morning."

Is it me or do the AVR updates not seem as "regular"as they used to be? They received my ds-230 over a week ago and there hasn't been an update to the AVR for my case.

I recieved a RFE for our financial stuff on the 15th, i returned the check list and it was been entered into the system on the 21st. They also recieved the ds-230 and entered into the system on the 20th.

I called the NVC and they told me that my case is being reviewed. How long does it take for them to review?

I really really need to be case complete by the end this week, at the latest Monday. I just hope it will.

I think that they could make the whole process much more efficient.

I hope we all get case complete soon.

I just called NVC and operator told me that PCC was missing from the checklist... I have already sent PCC from local police station, Do I also need PCC from passport if the passport is less than 6 months old?

if the passport is less then six months old you only need PCC from the PASSPORT ISSUING OFFICE. you do not need a local PCC..
