Many people say well, just wait for it to happen and i know that some people who are still stuck at VSC are going to say, well atleast your last touch wasn't 2/24/2008. I sympathize really i do. I want all of us to get out of this black hole. The problem is what it feel like while waiting. My husband and i are both struggling and i feel like my happiness is just over the hill and i will reach it, if someone will just listen and hear my cries for help. Unfortunately, we are nothing but a bunch of papers and a few minutes out of someone else's time.

It's not easy to sit here and just wait. Not easy to watch my two year old sit and pretent to drive to her Daddy. Not easy to watch her pick up the phone and "call" him cause that's about all she knows about him. He is jsut a voice on the phone to her. Pretty soon , she will start asking questions. I went throught my entire pregnancy without him and i could not explain to you how hard that was. My husband was my first love and we finally found each other again after many years, so this was a mixed blessign for me. I wrote to my new COngresswoman's office for help. This process made me miss the old COngressman so much. They do not take me seriously. I wrote about three weeks ago and all they keep saying is they will get back to me. I hate this. I am not asking anyone for money. I am not asking anyone to pay for anythign for me. I just want them to do their job. I want to give up and not call or keep pushing for my case to be approved but i feel like if i don't do something then i will just have to look at my daughter growing up without her father and feel like i am doing nothing. Then i will feel like the people at USCIS who see nothing but papers and pieces of their time.

I see so many men that have children and want nothign to do with them but my husband absolutely adores his daugther. The two weeks of her life that they spent together was amazing to watch. I was truly on vacation. From the time she woke up in the morning to when she laid her head down to sleep, she was trully Daddy's girl. She was a child that never likes strangers but she immediately attached herself to her Dad, it was as if she knew. I don't want any of you to suffer the same fate i want us all to get out of this mess. I just wish that they could fix this system where families did not have to be separated for years.

California is going to approve all of us. Just remember that. Leaving Vermont was God's way of telling you that everything is going to be OK. And your daughter knows her father loves her. She _knows_ it. I think that's probably what keeps _her_ strong. Children who live without that knowledge have it a lot worse.

You'll all be together. Don't worry.

I'm so sorry! It breaks my heart when I know that there are children and parents suffering... It's so tough for a couple without children... I can't imagine how it is for a mother, a father and a child... gosh, I'm furious!!!! This is SO unfair!!!

All I can do is wish you GOOD LUCK, you'll be together and HAPPY soon!!!

It's OK, we all have had those days, and here you know we all 'get it' - we will all be approved very soon, I feel it this time - I see being transferred as God's way of giving us strength too - for us the transfer happened the weekend of Krishna's birthday and Govinda is a name of Krishna, so I know Lord Krishna is looking out for Govi and me. :)
