American-Filipino couple...How are you adjusting in the 1st month -1yr of Marriage?

we've been married and living together for 1yr and almost 3 mos now.Mostly of our fights are because of misunderstandings.I always misinterpret what he said and vise versa.Im super sensitive.Before if im mad at him, im giving him a silent treatment.He made me realize that we need to communicate and not to be super sensitive.Americans are frank while filipinas are sensitive, so i guess we have to adjust to make the relationship works

This is true... Now I am learning to voice out what I feel to my hubby... I am just glad that we are doing good in nearly 11 months being a couple.

01/03/2010- Receive NOA

01/10/2011- Email from USCIS for the Required Evidence( Finger printing)

01/26/2011-Biometric Schedule

02/07/2011-USCIS online status update-

02/12/2011- Received Interview Letter Scheduled March 14

02/12/2011- Received Descheduled letter

02/17/2011- USCIS online Status update

02/22/2011-New IL arrived schedule for March 29

02/22/2011-Descheduled Letter Again ( 2nd Time)

02/23/2011- I called USCIS and I was told new schedule in the computer for March 22

02/23/2011-USCIS ONline update....

03/01/2011-Interview Letter for March 22 @ 7:15 AM

03/22/2011- Interview and Oath; US Citizen

How are you guys adjusting in the first 6 months to a year of marriage.. What difficulties do you encountered most??

Please share your experience...

She helps me off with my work clothes and hangs them up when I get home from the job. Helps me into my evening lounging attire and slippers.

My drink is waiting for me and dinner is ready within a 1/2 hour of my arrival.

I'm adjusting just fine...Thank You!
