how much do i need to pay for luggage carts in the airport?

to those who have travelled, how much did you pay for the luggage carts in the airport- in naia and in your poe?

luggage carts? you meant a racking row that has lock? there are fee for those.. but if you are talking aboout the push cart that you oput your stuffs on when you rome around the airport, it's free butonce you get to the immigration na you are only ought to bring your carry on..:D

I dunno.. when I used JFK and Newark Airports, their carts had fees.. I don't remember how much exactly, though. something like 3$, I think, and if you return the carts to the racks, you get 25 cents back. In Narita, Japan, the carts were free. In NAIA, they were also technically free, but they boys were "hoarding" them, so you have to give them a "tip" for collecting a cart for you.

You probably won't need one in Narita as your checked luggage will go all the way to your POE.... In Chicago, carts were free... In other airports I have paid anywhere from $1 to $4 dollars

In NAIA they are still free, and they are very nice. Or if you want to look at it the other way, your departure tax pays for them.

I've seen charges from $1-$3 as posted earlier. Some of the machines will take credit/debit cards as well as coins. Hope your trip goes well.
