ive been browsing through everyday here at VJ to learn more about this confusing immigration process, and with all the post, i learn a new thing or two once in a while. but still, i have certain queries which needs clarification. ill try to post them below and i hope you guys could help me out:

1. i have an NSO issued BC and MC, do i need DV for both? like i pay 650PHP each? ..or just 650PHP..??

2. aren't the vaccinations included in the 213.35 USD medical at SLEC? if not, how much do you i need to bring with me for the vaccination shots alone. i was thinking all the while na kasama na sa medical yung vaccination fees. i have my personal physician, but there was certain thread here na nagsabi na she wasted a huge sum of money coz she had her vaccination shots in another MD kasi kasama daw pala sa medical yung vaccinations. is there some thruth to this?

3. im married to a wonderful and handsome Filipino American Citizen (Citizenship acquired through Naturalization)--may pahabol pang kilig..lol.., do i need to attend CFO? im thinking since im on CR1 route, i dont need to do so but i just want clarification from those going through or has been through the CR1 process.

hope you guys could help me out, im kinda newbie here so i hope you could guide me through..thanks in advance..

-- you just need to pay Php650.00. It's up to USEM CO which one they will verify...maybe depends if you're K1 or CR1/IR1 but it's like Php650 per head.

2. aren't the vaccinations included in the 213.35 USD medical at SLEC? if not, how much do you i need to bring with me for the vaccination shots alone. i was thinking all the while na kasama na sa medical yung vaccination fees. i have my personal physician, but there was certain thread here na nagsabi na she wasted a huge sum of money coz she had her vaccination shots in another MD kasi kasama daw pala sa medical yung vaccinations. is there some thruth to this?----------- Oh my, I waived for vaccination, I think a lot of members can answer this.

3. im married to a Filipino American Citizen (Citizenship acquired through Naturalization), do i need to attend CFO? im thinking since im on CR1 route, i dont need to do so but i just want clarification from those going through or has been through the CR1 process-------------- my type of VISA is CR1 too. However I am married to American...I think it doesn't matter, you still have to go for CFO seminar no matter what because it's compulsary either CR1 or K1.

May the Lord bless your journey!!! :star::star::star:

blairbitxh, thanks for the quick respose, caught me off-guard there..lol..

may i ask if it isnt too personal as to why you waived for the vaccinations?

and yeah, thanks, now i know i ought to attend that CFO thingy, good thing i live in cebu, the CFO seminar location is just accessible. and i guess, ill be expecting that sticker thingy too? will that be on the passport with the VISA too? as i understand, i need to have the VISA on hand before i could attend that right?

Yes you need to have your visa on hand in getting your cfo sticker..I paid $213 for my medical and that covers everything including vaccination.

1. i have an NSO issued BC and MC, do i need DV for both? like i pay 650PHP each? ..or just 650PHP..??

you only need to pay PhP650 and that covers all the papers that needs to be verified from NSO.

2. aren't the vaccinations included in the 213.35 USD medical at SLEC? if not, how much do you i need to bring with me for the vaccination shots alone. i was thinking all the while na kasama na sa medical yung vaccination fees. i have my personal physician, but there was certain thread here na nagsabi na she wasted a huge sum of money coz she had her vaccination shots in another MD kasi kasama daw pala sa medical yung vaccinations. is there some thruth to this?

yes, you only need to pay the peso equivalent of USD213.35 for the medical and that covers EVERYTHING ( Physical Exam, vaccinations, xray etc.)

3. im married to a wonderful and handsome Filipino American Citizen (Citizenship acquired through Naturalization)--may pahabol pang kilig..lol.., do i need to attend CFO? im thinking since im on CR1 route, i dont need to do so but i just want clarification from those going through or has been through the CR1 process.

anyone who is married to a foreigner that is planning to migrate needs to undergo the seminar from CFO :)

you can attend the seminar with or without the visa but you can not have the stamp or sticker without the visa.
