Hi Noura :) I'm on vacation this week so won't really be posting much. Going to do some much needed gardening and then back to school clothes shopping later on in the week and then I'm going to give up the internet entirely (even my beloved fertility message boards that I'm addicted to!! :crying: ) for the month of Ramadan.

Ash your son looked picture perfect on his first day of kindergarden! I"m a bad mommy and never took those first day pics. I did keep all of their class pictures though and it's amazing how much they change in the years!!!

This buy your own school supplies is for the birds btw. I threw down $160+ at Staples the other day for things on their list that the school sent. Where the **** does the $6,500/year of property taxes go??????? It boils my blood every year. Oh well rant over.

Hope everyone has a good day. It's a hot one here but I"m determined to do something with my lawn. I don't have an edger so I don't know how I'm going to make it look neat but I"m determined anyways. Just have to wait till the sun goes down a bit since it makes me physically ill.

ciao!

Morning everyone :)

I start school today and logged onto the online course stuff - I printed everything I need for my online history class and several other small things and it took 1 hr to print and an entire package of paper  But at least I was using work resources and printed directly to the printer sitting behind my desk :P

I'm debating on making up a BS excuse of needing to see my advisor or something to leave work early and go to the other campus (about 30 min drive) to get the books they don't have at mine. It's for my online course and I have assignments due this week and about 1-2 hrs reading before I start the essays..... trying to decided if it's worth it to try to make it there and back in 1 hr before class tonight. :bonk:

Well supposedly it's supposed to go down in a few years. It started going up when I moved here in 2002 to pay for the construction of our new state of the art high school but that was 6 years ago. Then it increased again when everyone's house value soared and they did a new assessment. Well, we all know what the housing industry looks like now so my assessed value is absolutely waaaay above what my home is actually worth.

Anyways what's done is done and I pay it but it just burns me to have to shell out $$ for pencils/pens/glue after all that. As soon as they're out of high school we're moving!!!!! I can't wait!!! lol

Noura! How are ya? I miss talking to you. Hope Said is doing well. I'm sure he is excited to be going home soon. If it makes you feel any better, I'm not really ready for Ramadan either. I'm not ready for a certain someone being grouchy for a month....

Dang girl! We really do need to catch up w/ a phone session soon... it's been too long. I have this aversion to phone calls though, so I really don't talk on the phone as much as I lead people to believe! LOL. I'm also not ready for my man to be gone for a month. ISA, it will pass quickly!

Aww I know a month seems like a long time, but it will go by fast. We do need to catch up!

Carrie :) She is on Axid...its in cherry flavor base too. But she HATES it...LOL. Poor lil monkey.

Noura---Call ANYTIME silly! We can always make time for u!

No problem Ash, it wasn't your fault. I think maybe had I not given it to him right after eating and put it in some juice it probably would have gone better. He's doing fine now. Btw...your son looks so cute! What a handsome young man.

Nawal what medicine is Nour on for reflux? Ayman is on prevacid, half a tab twice a day. It's the disolvable kind in strawberry flavor. He doesn't really like it, but he will eat it.

I really hate all these medicines and stuff. Poor Ayman inherited all my problems...sensative skin, bad stomach, short temper, no patience.....lol. He is still a happy boy though.

No, I'm much more sociable in person... it's the phone I dislike. There are times I like to shut down though, and I get very quiet then. I highly doubt that will be the case w/ I'm w/ my MENA girls!!! Specially w/ some Medhi squeezing going on. :luv:
