Zaid and I got up at about ohhh 730am, he had some breakfast and a bath, dog went out, cat and dog fed, started a load of laundry, diaper bag packed, now i have to start getting myself ready for work...its alll good though cuz im off tomorrow...

Jackie, totally off the wall question but, my bro and sis in law live in Joliet..not happy with their sitter for their 6 month old...You dont know anyone out there, stay at home moms, maybe an older lady? An in home day care? lemme know? i figured id ask since i know your just down the street from em...

Mornin' Zee! Still enjoying the life with hubby? I think I remember you saying that you were going back to work soon, has that happened? How was the adjustment for him at home without you? My hubby called a lot when I first went back to work.

Awwwwwwww, thanks Kelly! Malek loves his baby Amira! She is wild though. Ayman said that he came in the house the other day and Amira was climbing the curtains. She has to find something always to play with and loves snuggling with Malek. I see Zaid ate sweet potatoes, Malek loves those but his favorite is squash.

Morning MENA! Hope all of you have a great day and this week is FULL of good news.

I'm NOT in the mood at all for work... My body still hurts from moving. We are without gas (hot water/cooking) till Tuesday...(thanks Southwest Gas ) and not that important but still annoying cable and internet. Ahhhh!! Needless to say, I'm at work annoyed and my body still hurts from all the moving and unpacking and we are STILL not done! YIKES!

Pray for us this week...my MIL has her interview for her visiting visa. Inshallah, all goes well. If not, I'm going to be packing my bags and leaving for Egypt...(joking).

Tasha I love the new kitty Amira () Having a baby kitty is somewhat like having a toddler, they have to get into EVERYTHING. Last summer I had 4 of them at a time and it was absolutely crazy around here.

Tasha I love the new kitty Amira () Having a baby kitty is somewhat like having a toddler, they have to get into EVERYTHING. Last summer I had 4 of them at a time and it was absolutely crazy around here.

Nawal, you get a high five for the comments on how my lil guy favors me, i COMPLETELY agree, and no one in my family does...aside from his black hair and unibrow, he is a mini-me, same round chunky face, same dimples, forehead, nose, ears, eyes, and yet EVERYONE still calls him sofyan jr....i dont get it

You know what Kelly, my family is the same and Hazem's family as well...they say that Zain looks like me and Nour like him...but if you check out my baby pictures..Nour is my twin and Zain is Hazem's twin. It's Zain's blonde hair and blue eyes that makes everyone say he looks like me. So I'm thinking its the same for Sofyan...they see Zaid's dark hair and his full manly eyebrows..lol (unibrow..MOMMY UR MEAN) and they associate him w/ ur hubby!

I'm smiling NOW...Take out doesn't sound so bad! YAY!!

You know the gross part....I showered this morning and was scared the water would be freezing. It came out HOT! It was 5am and we had hot water with no gas....Welcome to Arizona where the water is ALWAYS hot! LOL I was thinking...what if I wanted a cool shower...never going to happen here!

We had a bad start to the weekend, but it ended up being pretty good. I got the Grapefruit Seed Extract Ash suggested for Aymans Thrush Friday night. Saturday morning we got up, had some cereal and proceeded to swab his mouth with the GSE. He had a fit when I put it in his mouth. So I dabbed a little on the end of my tongue and OMG I could see why, it was awful. He was spitting and gagging for hours and then started throwing up. Poor little guy thought I was trying to kill him. Needless to say, the rest of the day was spent pampering him. BUT, his thrush is gone thank God. I don't think I could have given it to him again. I don't know if I did something wrong, I diluted it as suggested, but it just made him so ill. Yesterday was better, Ayman and I hung out at home and played all day.

I'm soooo draggin' today, been up since 4am. I finally get Ayman to sleep all night the last 2 nights, but then last night I can't sleep.

OMG I'm so sorry!!!! I don't know what happened.. I never had that problem with Aaron.. I diluted it very heavily as well... I think once time I swabbed his mouth with it and then I put a few drops in a bottle of juice and it did the trick I'm really sorry - I'm glad the thrush is gone but I'm horribly sorry that he took it so hard :( Most of the time I swabbed I used a qtip and just put it on the specific areas and then the drops in a bottle of apple juice.... Again one million apologies..

I know Nour (our daughter) hates her meds for her reflux and acts like its the end of the world. If we give it to her directly before eating she vomits still! So we have learned that we needed to give it to her at least 30 min before or after a bottle. She has to take it 2 times a day. It doesn't smell/taste so bad but she acts as though we are killing her. I am like you...after they cry like that or get sick...I end up pampering all day long!
