I am a USC and I am starting the I-130 petition for my Non-USC Wife, I am just wondering when it asks for my Address, should I put my current Address that I am living in now or if I should put the US Address that I will be living in when I move.

Also my Mom was saying I have to submit a form to say I am ready for my interview but when I look online I don't see anything about it, is she correct about the form or is it not necessary?

We put our current address on all IV forms and brought them for I-130 petition (DCF Japan).

It didn't cause any problem.

As for the form you mother is talking about, I am not quite sure what she means.

We didn't need such a form though.

Good luck!

Put your current, non-US address as you have to be resident in the country you are filing in to do DCF.

The form about readiness will be sent by the embassy when your I-130 is approved, it's for the beneficiary to fill out to say they have everything (police certs etc) and are ready for interview.

Thanks for the answers, very helpful.. I also have a question for when we get her medical done, do we have to do it a certain amount of time before the interview or can we do it the day before if we wanted?

Medical is valid for 6 months to a year depending on the country.

She can do it the day before her interview, but make sure the medical form will be immediately available.

As for my country, it takes a day to 2 weeks to have your medical at hand.

Some medical clinics have expedited services for 2 hours pick up, etc. with additional fees.

Here they recommend doing the medical at least a week in advance of the interview, to ensure blood test results are ready.
