My husband sent the form I-130. He already received NOA1 for form I-130. Now he just received an RFE (Request for Evidence) saying that we have to attach 2pcs 2x2 passport pictures each from me and my husband. We sent only 1 picture from me and my husband for the G-325A form because it says in step-by-step guide to send one passport photo. They wrote this in the RFE:

"Lightly print the names and A-numbers on the back of the photos with a pencil."

What is the A-numbers that we should write on the back of the pictures with a pencil?

I appreciate for your help in advance. Thank you so much.

The instructions are on the USCIS website. We were reading them last night and they tell you step by step

what to do.

They even tell you to print the names and A-numbers on the back of the photo with a pencil.

The A-number is the number on the visa page of the passport.

It also should be printed above the beneficiary name on your NOA2.

If you love me, then I have everything I need

The A# is the unique alien number assigned by USCIS for each invidiual. If you had never applied for a green card you would not have it. So on your photo you can just write your name and no a# at all. As for your husband's photo he can write only if such a number was assigned to him previously like when he applied for green card. But if he was a US born citizen and doesn't have A#, he may omit it. This is what I did for my wife. She did not have A#, but I put my A# from the green card on the back of my photo.

A# may be on your NOA1. If not you don't have one yet so ell them in the letter when you send in the photos.

I thought the I-130 only required 1 photo each. No matter! Send them what they asak for.

Don't worry: I had the EXACT SAME RFE. We sent 2 pictures of each of us with names and the I-130 number (it's in NOA 1) and you know what happened to us 8 days later???? We got our NOA 2!!!!

Good luck, and relax, you'll soon have your NOA 2!!

RFE should have an A# on it. Look carefully. That is the A# to be assigned to the beneficiary. love_is_blessing is correct about the US Citizens A#.
