I had my remaining vaccination shots here in the US.The shots was given by my husband's family doctor and the costs were covered by his insurance. We paid $20 to have my vaccination records transcribed by a designated Civil Surgeon when I filed my AOS.I have no idea though of the cost of those shots.

hi pink pareho yata tayo. i'm not sure kase i didn't pay attention when the Dr. mentioned those vaccines kase ang haba ng mga terms d ko marecall. anyway, i was given 3 shots and i still have two left. hindi ko nga alam kung magpapavaccine ulit ako sa st. lukes or sa US pero bahala na lang isipin ko muna ung interview ko. God bless sa interview mo.

Hi guys, its important to have a vaccination card. Its just a piece of card you can ask from the DR who administered your vaccines (surely its free). That way. its easier to keep track any additional dose needed. Does SLEC give out this card? see my vaccination card front side post-53380-1219681756_thumb.jpg

OO nga...mura nga ba sa US?? anyone who had it done there?

I guess you could think of it in the context that most commodities in the US cost more than they do here. A doc's monthly income in the US DEFINITELY surpasses a doc's income here more than 10 times over. Then again, HPV vaccines were given out earlier in the US than here.

I am a bit wary of the HPV vaccine though as there was a study done in Texas about the incidence of sterility in some girls who were given the vaccine. The study caused the mandatory vaccination agains HPV to be reviewed. I have a little girl and I definitely want to have grandkids someday.

Anyway, this is my two cents' worth.

BTW...if your spouse has health insurance, maybe he could add you so that the cost would not be so much. My husband has added me and my child to his insurance coverage which will cover at least 60% of vaccination costs.

i had HPV, DPT, MMR, Tdap. my bad, i forgot what vaccince dose should i get next..

does anybody recall the schedule?? sorry ha..nakalimutan ko po tlga..

When i had my medical, they gave me TDAP, MMR and Human Papillomavirus (anti-cervical cancer).

The nurse told me that i need to have another shot of TDAP after 2 months to complete the immunization. He said that i can also have that shot in the US and the next shot for TDAP is called TD.

I am not sure if that is what you are asking about? if not i think we can call SLEC naman to inquire about it :)

Pink if you were given HPV @SLEC, you would still need 2 more shots of that pa on top of the Tdap.

Immunization record/worksheet and x ray film are supposedly given out to applicants after successfully completing the medical at SLEC, you can check it for the schedule and for the other age appropriate vaccines na kailangan nu pa.
