We are getting a new puppy!

2 weeks ago we put in a deposit on a baby siberian husky!! It is a female, red colored, with blue eyes. We are planning on naming her "Cayenne" but it is still being considered

She was 2 weeks at the time, today she is 4 weeks old so we still have 2 more weeks to go before we can bring her home.

We already have Anya, a 6 year old husky female, and we are confident they will become best buddies; Anya is super sweet, and I expect her mommy instincts will come through and she will adopt the puppy for sure.

We were very impressed with the breeder, and the mommy and dad. They are here in Texas, 1 hour away from were we live. The mommy is super sweet and she let us come into the kennel and play with the puppies. The dad is very handsome and has an excellent personality as well

We will visit her again today...yay!

I love Siberians. Unfortunately, I can't have a dog. We live in town and have a tiny yard. I don't have the time to spend with a dog, either. They aren't like cats, which you can ignore most of the time. lol

Justin and I don't know what to expect with the dog-cat situation. We have 2 cats and they haven't warmed up to Anya, But maybe with a puppy it will be different. Poor Cayenne she's going to come into the house and think our cats are as dog-friendly as this one, she's up for a surprise!

Thank you Stacey! when we went to see her the first time she was just a little napping furry ball, she only became active when the mommy was around. We can't wait to see her again today, because she will probably be more active and show more of her personality
