Hello V.J.s,

My wife and i have received the notification of appointment letter from the N.V.C. with certain instructions on the interview process there at the U.S.Embassy in Manila, However; i am a bit confused because according to some of the experiences that i have read regarding interviews there in manila, they have issued both pink and white slips to some of you and have asked you for additional documentation?. I had read in their website that the U.S.Embassy in manila is no longer requiring that I-864 forms be notarized, yet some of you where given white slips because they asked for a notarization on that particular document. Could someone please shed some light regarding this matter and what exactly are these documents being required of the consul's at the interview. Any ones help concerning this matter is greatly appreciated as i would love to relieve some stress from my spouse and myself. Thank You in advance. :)

hello.. based on my own opinion it's depend on what the CO's decision if the I-864 will be notarized or not.. some of the CO did'nt care about I864 and some of them is depend on that.. so we never know.. cause my CO he never see my I864 all he care is about the picture, remittance, chat log etc.. Good luck to your wife for her upcoming interview..

Although it may not be "required" it may be a standard practice. I would get it notarized just in case.
