My congressman filed an inquiry before he could file an expedite request. The official response was:

We are currently processing immediate relative petitions received on 9/3/07

There is a canned response if I have every heard one. If this is correct don't count on the processing date on the web site changing this month.

This is exactly what I got from my congressman! In reality, I think VSC is churning the spousal visa apps faster than before. Whether it is forwarding the cases to CSC or doing actual approvals, they definitely are focusing on spousal visas. Expect a transfer or approval soon. :whistle:

The senator sent me a letter yesterday with the same exact response. They are working with September 3, 2007 and mine is from august 2007 but im still "in my normal process times"...

Wife getting anxious! 2009-4-02...recieved the call from him, then jumped up and down in circles and cried (so like me)
