thank you, Maureen.

Hardly any rain here at all. My grass is crunchy and it's dryer than a popcorn fart.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

ha ha ha ha

we've been watering our front yard during this dry spell and i'm proud to announce that we have the greenest front yard on the street :) and probably will have the most expensive water bill :( lol- not to worried about the backyard since nobody can see it but i've been having a heck of a time trying to get grass to grow where that tree was. i see few areas where grass is starting to come out but still so much more area needs to start growing. i water the area but it makes the seeds drift into the driveway. i probably will have grass growing out of the driveway...lol

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Good morning. Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Nagi: you cracked me up with your no-water, no-mow solution!

I have to "dress up" for work today :( I don't like dresses... especially on a hot day.

Stay cool everyone!

Good Morning MENA! I'm back at work today :)

I had quite an eventfull weekend... we drove basically a full circle around Florida in one day  The darn hubby refused to stop - wouldn't even spend the night at my dad's house half way through and drove back home in the middle of the night friday  I know there is no place like home, but I really could have enjoyed my dad's private, screened off pool a little longer :P

We left Miami at 6am, came up the east side of Florida, skirted Orlando for some tiny town to buy some bulldozers, headed to the west coast to eat dinner with my dad in Tampa, then left about 9 pm down the west coast back to Miami - got home at 1am Saturday morning  I am NOT doing this again

Yesterday we were too exhausted to do anything but stay at home to clean the apartment and watch some movies :innocent:

The Nagi solution......don't wear clothes. :D

BTW, good morning, PB. I hope life is treating you good these days.

G'morning everyone! I had a super fantabulous day yesterday. After power (grocery) shopping and a quick nap, my best gf and I went for some sushi and then to a beautiful dance production from a visiting Armenian Folk Dance Troupe. They were awesome. I then went to a wine & cheese party for some friends who are getting married in abt 6 weeks. It was a lovely party and I had some really interesting cheeses. My hubby even came to the party after work, so that was nice. Now I'm up and making oatmeal/date bread in my new breadmaker. YUM... hope it comes out good!

Thanks Nagi :star: Haven't seen you in a while and hope life's been good for you as well.

Life's been good here - I'm happy the hubby is finally home and feeling okay.

I've found out that the multi-vitamin pills just don't digest right in my stomach (like alot of things) and I've started taking liquid vitamins. Wow can I feel the difference! I found a liquid mulit-vitamin that also has added stuff to help with digestion and matabolism - it's working really well :)

Kelly, I just don't know if Zaid can get any cuter!!! :luv: I love, love, love the pic of him eating his sweet potatoes! A roast in the crockpot sounds yummy, but I think I'm going to make Mansaf.... or maybe Sunday chicken (which tastes vaguely similar to Mansaf, but easier to make). Hmmmmmmmm... gotta vacuum these floors!
