Heather I am really sorry to hear this!!! If you want to, you should stop on over to the MENA forums (Middle East North Africa under the Regional area)

There are a few members there currently going through AP for various reasons in Morocco....

I will pray for you and hope that you get a call back and a visa in hand ASAP!!!

Hello,

You sound like a wounded heart, and believe me, I understand you. But remember, God is always there for you, and knows the perfect time for you. This is good, that activity is going on. Let the embassy finish its course, let God take the lead. A lawyer will not be of much help in AP. As we have seen with hundreds of people that they receive visas relatively quickly after the second interview. I have been waiting 11 months, my very good friend Belinda63 had been waiting 17 months, and others have waited similar times. But they all got their visas and they recieve it at their right time. Hold on and pray to God for guidance. I know it is hard, but life is hard. Anything too easily gotten is not worth having. Talk to your fiance often and deepen the love while you are waiting. As he had his second interview already (despite the fact the consulate did ask many questions, which they are allowed to do), his visa should be coming soon. You have finished the long part of it, the 9 months, now it is only a matter of a few weeks to 1 and half months before you see visa activity for your case.

God bless,

Tam

Also - a note - they call everything AP, from taking the passport to asking for additional documents to reviewing the case. It does not mean security checks always. Since they called him for a second interview, my guess is, and God-willing, I am not too far from the truth, his checks are done, which is why they called him and now they are reviewing the case and that is also called AP. After they are done reviewing the case, they issue the visa.

Sending you my prayers,

Tam
