If I book a few weeks in advance it works out to be:

1 Passenger: $280.00

At little cheaper than every other time I have looked at it.

Jet blue flight on the same day: $198

Eh!!?? I went one-way from St Louis to Chicago for $22 about a year ago. OK, so the train left the 'lou at 5am, but still and all, only $22.

Its cheaper in the Midwest than on the East coast ;)

One way fare from Philly to NYC (1.5 hour ride) at its cheapest is $45 or so.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I came back from DC late last night. I rode the Amtrak Northeast Regional.

On the way to DC (from Metropark), the train was on-time and took 2 hours 40 minutes. The drive at that time of day would have been 4-5 hours. The train was comfortably air conditioned. All in all, a very comfortable ride in.

The way back was different. Thursday night, very crowded. I got a place to seat but many did not. The train started 30 minutes late, reached Metropark about an hour late. The train itself was still comfortable and clean.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.
