Medical Question

Does the medical have to be done a month or so before the interview or can it be done a few days before. I'm asking because my fiance is probably going to come over here for 2 weeks and take me to the interview/pack me/move me back with him and I wanted to do the medical somewhere in there too. Is it possible to have it done so close to the interview?

Judging by your timeline, you seem to not have even been given your NOA2 to know when the interview will be. I would say that once you get your packet 3 book your medical because its in the checklist you have to send back to the consulate stating you have recieved it or going to soon. Why wait for the interview to be so close to get it done? I am not saying there will be, but what if complications happen with your medical and it may not be read those few days before your interview?

I would say just do it as soon as you can once you recieve your packet three. What is the point in waiting?

The point in waiting is that I have nobody to take me to it. I dont drive and everyone around me works so my fiance was going to take me when he comes over for the interview.

Then you answered your own question. You can wait till you know you interview date then book your medical close to your interview date

Thanks! I probably didnt even need to ask this question but that's me for ya...always asking questions. I'd rather know in advance than not know and make a mistake.
