RFE is here... Generated on 9-24-2009(not bad, mailed on the same day and form east to west coast in two days)

Missing documents:

Turkey Police Ceritificate

I think this is not fair. Person who was in charge of my case didn't even look at those copies for the God sake. I had included two copies.

So, this was a mistake from their end.

Nothing to say.

Cheers guys...

Anyone esle got an update?

Ilya, with the time getting closer to move, she's probably extremely nervous. Do everything in your power not to put a negative spin on what you perceive from her. She's about to make a massive life change. Be both positive and realistic. Positive without realism will not provide security to her. But being positive and realistic will assure her that you will take good care of her during this transition.

Bottom line is that if she's not asking it is more likely because she's doing last minute reevaluations which are completely normal and completely understandable. You need to be a rock now.

try your best she is leaving alot to something not well known. She loves you is all that she knows and it is a scary time i am sure.

good luck... mine??? he just wants to find a job and a soccer team to play with hehe

We've been arguing alot, she blames me for alot of things. I dont know ####### is going on lately. I have lots of work and NVC, and my wife's pissy days. grrrrrrrrrr i want beer

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Actually, blame is very bad. She has to take responsibility for herself and her decisions if this is going to work. If not, she might be too young to handle it. And it is unfair to you.

http://www.coping.org/growth/accept.htm

Ilya, ask her to please share what is bothering her. A lot of little arguments are usually about something else and getting her to talk about it might help. Just ask her if she's scared about moving. She might be afraid to tell you.

It will get there, I promise you. I did the same thing. I recall reading that RFE's go to ATTN: DR, but naturally when I was filling out the form with the courier it completely slipped my mind and I used CMR again. Took a little longer to get into the system (it was delivered at 10:30am on 09/23 but not entered until 09/25 when everything else was entered same or next day), but it WILL get there. :)

I made the same mistake...I called and expressed my concern to an NVC operator and she told me they recieved it and not to worry about it...2-4 weeks to review it....of coarse

I don't know if anyone got complete thing, but I called this afternooon and that guy (Matt or Max) told me seems that eveything is done and it will go out to embassy. He said something about expedite request was approved or whatever. I guess he was drunk or somthing.

Something I have noticed recently that they don't pickup the phone after 3-5 min wait, like phone rings for about 12 times and then someone picks it up.

What is going on, is it only me or anyone else had the same experience?

UPDATE:

Called NVC again, she said embassy has approved the expedite request! :jest:

Case is not complete yet,

I found these people very confuse about finding your information on their computer.

PCC has been entered into the system and under review (probably wait till Monday) another weekend hits our poor case.

I may celebrate pretty soon. I miss you guys :crying:

Hi all, I am not an august approval, but have just sent our package to NVC. It was received on 25th of Sept.

I have been looking at timelines and saw most of the cases where under review within 2 days, so how do you guys know it, I mean, will it automatically update on AVR or you have to talk one of the Representatives after 2 days? I am hoping for my husband to call later on Monday night and see about it.

Also, does NVC work on Saturdays?

Thanks for help

NVC doesn't work on Saturdays.

We know they got the package base on the post service tracking number and then by calling them and have a chat with the operator. They can pull out any informations and see where is your case.

Good Luck
