I have scheduled an appointment with the immigration attorney next week, I should know then whether or not we should proceed or wait.

Nicole...did we miss something?

What's the issue here?

You missed it not us.

She has some probelms over her husbands probably over-stayed in the past or without visa probably. She wants to make sure that he is not going to be banned for certain years before she pay the IV fee bill or somthing like this.

Nicole, sorry if I explained it wrong. Make sure the lawyer is knowledgable. I hate them.

I wish I could have helped you...

Ahhhh...

I recall hearing that if the I-130 was approved, the past is the past.

I can't see them saying, "It's fine for you to apply for a visa...but he's already on our banned list".

Good luck with the attorney. Make sure you've got all your questions prepared.

Have you considered just appending and editing the guide I put together?

I really like your "Before you get to NVC" section.

I'll wait for your next draft so we're not duplicating effort.

Also...I just started the "Stupid RFE Thread" so we can document all the stuff we did that could have been avoided.

I think there's room in there for some of us to contribute :)

One of the issues with emailing, you may have to email several times till you get an Auto-Respond email.

Does anyone notice that their spouse is slowly losing interest in the process?? My wife doesnt even ask me anymore, hmmm...........

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Ilya...stop it NOW!

Don't second guess yourself or your wife. You might just be surprised at what's on her mind.

She might be making plans, packing, or just not want to stress YOU out about the visa process.

You're almost there. Don't stress.
