Rajaa, It is not necessary to call the Embassy, but you can talk with a really nice woman who maybe can help your husband!

When the NVC send to the Embassy your Case, you can track your package!

When the Package arrived to the Embassy, I will wait two or three days, and then I will call the Embassy!

I am sure that the lady can tell your husband a lot of information about the packets and the interview!

The lady told me that every wednesday they do the interviews, I do know if they have a lot interviews in October, but in Spain there are not too many people that want to live in USA, and the Spaniards do not need Tourist Visa (we are Visa Waivers).

Maybe your husband can have his interview in the first week of November, I do not Know! But I wish you Good luck!!

Your husband only can make an appointment with the clinic when he has his packet at home. But you do not worry, the clinic can give you an appointment in two days!It is really fast!

He can call the clinic, in two days he can have his appointment, then He can do the exam one day, and one day later he can go to pick up the medical report!

Sorry, If you do not understand me, please tell me, and I will try to explain again, my English is not very good!!

Shpat....

they MIGHT send you a hard copy of the instructions and barcode cover sheet (that you can print online).

But you already have everything you need. Go ahead and send the I-864. Keep it moving, and you can be finished before x-mas....maybe before Thanksgiving.

Once they accept your DS-3032, you'll be able to pay the IV fee bill...and you've got most of that stuff ready...right?

Well I already printed the bardcode cover sheet, and the ds-3032 has been accepted via e-mail.

So all I need to do is send the I-864 and then pay the IV fee bill.

eYep....send the I-864 package...double and triple check it. Have somebody you trust read the instructions and check your package.

Sometimes WE are too close to the process and miss simple things. Check the payment site. If your DS-3032 has been accepted, you should be able to pay the IV fee bill.

...the journey continues.

That's very good advice. I would also recommend that once you send I-864, wait for 10-14 days and then give them a call to inquire whether there is anything missing/RFE on I-864. I called NVC last week regarding my I-864 and they refused to say it's "COMPLETE"...maybe because they didn't want to imply that the case was "COMPLETE" because DS230 wasn't in the system yet. But the NVC agent looked at my I-864 info in the system and he said there isn't any details missing and my income is sufficient....So this type of exercise should be done to make sure there is no RFE on the case....

My update:

The U.S. Embassy in Prague called me today. It was Czech lady and she was really helpful. She told me that as soon as they receive our I-130 (immigrant visa CR1) from NVC, she is going to call me and send me an e-mail. She is going to schedule an immigrant visa interview as soon as possible. I  don´t have to stick with the date which NVC will assign us.

The lady from the embassy also told me that it isn´t necessary to schedule the interview for K-3 visa and then change it to an immigrant visa interview. I am very lucky cause the U.S.Embassy in Prague isn´t busy. I hope NVC is going to complete our case soon.

This is an exciting news. Good for you. Un-busy consulate are the best and that is why we tried to have our interview in Italy. Same day Visa

Martina

Its not very safe going to Iran right now anyways, at least not for me. Turkey is nice specially in Antaliya but Americcan Consulate doesn't like Iranian in Turkey and they always give them hard time. Good that we are not goint over there or they could have delayed our case for quite sometimes.

Nimche,

you are right, Iran isn´t safe nowdays. I have been to Antaliya, Istanbul, Bursa, Edirne and many other towns in Turkey. I have spent 2 weeks in Turkey in 1999 and then a few day in 2006.

Nimce...congrats on the embassy change and good luck with the expedite, hopefully you'll get an october interview...

Ling, that sucks about the part 2 thing, you are right, it is soo easy to overlook something when you are staring at these forms for as long as we all have, it shouldn't slow the progress of your case by much if at all...

CHD, good luck with the RFE...

good luck to everyone else as well...I just got off the phone with NVC after after one of my 3 daily calls to them...same thing..."response to AOS checklist still under review", and there is always a little confusion due to the occurance of the checklist being sent from them to me and the checklist being recieved by them from me on the same day...lol...I also got the hard copy of the AOS RFE and the barcoded cover sheet has ATTN DR, and I used the barcoded coversheet from the AOS receipt page the I believe was ATTN CMR-AOS...that will probably cost me a couple days for it to find it's way to the right desk...I was hoping to hear a case complete from them this week, maybe tomorrow or early next week...I'll be going to Peru on the 8th for 2 weeks and would like to do the medical with her while I am there...

Spoke to a supervisor at NVC today.

She confirmed that they do scheduling on the second week of the prior month.

So all scheduling for November interviews will be done on the second week of October.

Of course we know there are exceptions to this rule, but she would not acknowledge or discuss exceptions.

PCC was recieved today at 10:30 and I called NVC just now. 2:00 PM PST and 5 PM EST. The case is still under supervisor's review.

Expedite process was sent to the embassy (email she said) but NVC has not recieved any infos from them.

She said there is no time frame for any of these except review by supervisor which is 10-15 days and she confirmed that they started the review yesterday. No sign of PCC in NVC yet.

I hate this timeframe without any updates. Makes me to drink more Startbucks.

Shpat, do you serve water in your bar?
