Hi there,

If NVC had my husband name in wrong place, middle name as first name, do I have to wait to talk to an operator to change it before paying IV fee?

I've already paid AOS fee and received an automated response email said that THE PRINCIPAL APPLICANT NAME NOT FOUND (husband is principal applicant.) Would NVC apply AOS fee into my case?

Thank you.

Leena

First thing Monday morning, you need to call NVC to straighten out the name and the payment.

Paying IV at this point could be a little risky.

Good luck.

Nothing to report on our case, just thought you all might have a giggle from the pic in our sig :) Yes CIS we're talking about YOU

I am giggleing just to make you happy. I don't see any problems anymore since they just became part of our daily life. We got no respect left anywhere anyway.

You should try NVC by calling them early in the morning on Monday. After 10 tries you should be able to talk to someone.

Good Luck

Hi Guys,

I posted this on the forum but only got one reply. I just want to make sure with what all you guys have done too since you are almost done with the NVC part. Here is my question:

On part 3, question 8 - i checked it because i am the sponsor of the principal immigrant. But what is confusing me is the one thing right below it. If i am the only sponsor and do not have a joint sponsor am i suppose to leave it blank or what? On the example form it was checked yes and the example for did not have any joint sponsors either. The reason i am confused is because right next to it, it says (only applicable for in cases with joint sponsors). Anyone with experience could you please help me.

thanks,

Posted

I found this example on VisaJourney DataBase check it out it will answer your question

http://www.visajourney.com/examples/INS-Form-I-864.pdf

So You have no other sponser and it will be only you. Sole Sponser then you check number 8 and check yes as there are no more sponsers.

and if there is no one else accompany her here, then non in number 9

Has anyone here ever thought why we are in here and dealing with this? Why is it that you are the one? Yes, I am talking to you!!!

Sometimes after this 4 years of not being with my beloved one and even trying every single possible way to be together, makes me wonder why is it so wrong with this system that doesn't allow people to be together?

Yep, you will probably say"hey, you are at the end of the tunnel and you will be with her in couple of months" but its hard to understand each person's circumstances.

I am tired of thinking and tired of this process not that I am going to give-up but I am really frustrated, not that I am nagging here but just feel stupid that this system of immigration sucked my energy and I never even realized that I am a slave and a lab. mice for them.

I couldn't do anything about this life but I hope next life I will do it with help of Lingolousiano.

Cheers

EDIT: and I don't like you guys being so quiet here!!!!

hello

is it alright to send DS 230 and I 864 in the same packet.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

They go to separate destinations.

Check your barcoded cover sheets for the correct addresses for each package.

Updated! Not that there was much. :)

I'm heading out to the RCMP office shortly, so my new PCC will be the mail today. I called the NVC (took 4 tries to get through) to confirm that I can just use the same coversheet as the DS-230 and she said this was fine. I fed it through the printer to the add the words "CHECKLIST LETTER RESPONSE' in the empty space below the barcode just to make sure its dummy-proof.

You could update mine laterz :) my ds230 was received Today!!

So now its waiting time!

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!
