ok... so if anyone is wondering.. they are reviewing our case for the change of consulate request.... what that means is our case is on hold until they decide. I cannot pay the IV bill until the decision. They started the process on the 10th and the operator told me there is no ETA on things like this.......

Yeah since I work with lots of paperwork (medicare) I tend to be pretty efficient.

Working with Government. hmm, I remember when I cam here to the US I had medicare for about 8 months but I started working so I can get my own insurance.

they told me the same thing last night. Good thing that I have already paid and mailed everything needed + they just started reviewing my case for change of embassy and he said everything will stop till this is done.

I hope they will do it quick.

Interesting that your local RCMP will do the cert, CHD, but wonderful! I'm thinking about sending out the IV package before we get the fingerprint cert. I can overnight the new cert and it will get things rolling sooner.

BTW, paid IV today. It went online as payable yesterday. AOS packet is going in the mail today. :-)

I have no idea when they started this process but I emailed it twice and they just told me last night.

I am seriousley sad for this if they don't give new embassy to us. I hope it will work for both of them.

From all the cases I've seen, it takes about 5 business days from receipt of all paperwork...then you get a "Case Complete".

BTW, my husband received an email response stating that NVC received his choice of agent email and would invoice his agent (me). Since he got this yesterday, is that what prompted the IV bill to go online yesterday?

How do you know that it has been 9 days, did you ask them?

I just called and ask the lady, she said that they started reviewing it from Sept. 17th.

So only two days.

yes, the same thing happened to me. We received the e-mail telling us the Agent (me) was assigned. Then the IV bill was available. You are movin' MsZ!!
