I have seen in other thread that some of the people from India are facing the same kind of issue. I have no idea about a solution right now but I will after a research.

My neighbor over there is a really high ranking officer, i'll ask my uncle to talk to him. He can get it for me without any of this stuff..

yeah we had the same thing, in Russia. I emailed her NOA1 and a letter requesting pcc for further processing.

and that did it.

I really really wish that I hadn't gotten into a funk about my RFE. I finally called my local RCMP office today and was told that yes, they do still do the regular criminal record check certificates. I could have gotten a ride up there yesterday and had the damned thing in the mail today! But no biggie. I'll get up there whatever day next week that I can get a ride, make sure they put BOTH spellings of my first name on the thing, and have it off by the end of next week. The whole ordeal will result in a 3 week delay with processing time, but it really is my own fault for not going with my gut the first time.

There is this old saying " Bad things happenes to good people"

Don't worry, we are here and make sure you will go through this. It sucks to recieve RFE for stupid docs, but PCC is the most complicated piece of document for NVC.

Yeah since I work with lots of paperwork (medicare) I tend to be pretty efficient.
