SO, they picked up the phone and it was a guy for second time in entire processing time of my case in NVC.

He sounds really wierd.

Me: Hi, I requested to change of embassy?

Him: yes, there is no timeframe on it and we are reviewing as of now

Me: Do you see if my AOS package has been gone through?

Him: mmm, wells we are processing it

Me: OK

Him: we got the I-864 and DS-230 and we are in middle of these process (I guess he meant, embassy change and AOS and IV)

Me: OK, thank you then

Him: no problem

Me: Have a great night working on my case

Him: You too!

BTW< senator called today at 5:05 (her rep.) and I missed the call and she left me a voice message lab lab lab

I called her right back and voice message says, our office is open 9-5 everyday. How the heck I can call her back when she calls after hour.

Now I wait till tomorrow, and she will say: well, today is Friday and Ill wait till Monday so NVC is open.

I am tired and this possibility of an RFE for PCC bothers me even more

INTERESTING INFO FROM NVC TODAY...if you have an approved I-129f petition and going for CR-1/IR-1

According to NVC, the consulate can request that your case is sent to them at anytime.

Not sure if this only applies to those with a K-3 interview pending...but in theory anyone could ask the

consulate to request their case before the review is completed at NVC.

HOWEVER, I doubt the NVC would willingly take on more responsibility for the review than they are required to.

The $400 was taken from my Bank Account but I still do not have any proof that I paid.

No receipt,No transaction ID, and it still appears as unpaid.

I am just glad I did not pay twice because they would have taken and extra $400 from my account. I am calling the NVC again...

Our AVR isnt updating yet, still says theyve just generated the IV bill letter. Cmon NVC you have the IV bill payment and the DS230 already, get reviewing and complete our case already

Hi I call the AVR and it keeps saying my number is not in system, call this morning and got operator on first try. said my NVC number is good and they have my DS-230. said takes 2-4 weeks to complete
