DS3032 received, but not processed. What does that mean? She said it might take "couple" of weeks to process? #######

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

That is their generic respond. It may get processed by end of tonight. Check on your IV bill tonight and see if it has been generated yet.

Just to make sure, go over the requiered documents for I-864 package and form itself and make sure everything is there + cover letter.

I havn't got the PCC yet, actually the post man hasn't been here. But I am still debating on whether I should submit original Marraige Certificate or not.

Problem is I don't have it with me and I should go home and get it. I guess I am going to get it.

Why the heck they want original Marraige Certificate, I though the copy is enough with translation.

I wonder if the storms and winds from Ike have anything to do with the phone service. My house does not have electric and today, we are the only bank branch open in the area, all gas stations are running out of gas, people are in crisis mode... and I am from Ohio. We had 6 uprooted trees in our yard and it looks like it is about to storm again.

No movement on our case. :( I sent hubby all the stuff for DS230 last Tuesday and it still hasnt reached him which is really worrying me. The tracker says its with USPS to be delivered but it should be there by now. Luckily Ill get some compensation if it doesnt turn up but Im more worried that someone could steal my identity from all that stuff. Ill be using Fedex from now on :angry:

Dear All!

Let me break the "bad news day" with my great news!!!

Just heard these magic "Case Complete" words!!!! As of Sept 12! :dance:

That IS a big relieve!!!! As you know I indeed sent a copy of Police Certificate, not the Original, and was worrying about possible RFE, also I finished filling DS230 at 3 AM, totally exhausted of doing that (writing and re-writing it, I spoiled 3 signed by my husband copies, and the one I sent was the last one, was worrying that my handwriting is ugly, and pen was just ordinary one...) So a lot of worries for nothing :-))))) Thanks God!!!

Do you think I have a chance to be scheduled for interview for October? Would be a wish come true for me!!!!

My timeline:

K-1 visa

05 - 16 - 2007 - Sending off of my I-129F package

10 - 16 - 2007-Got NOA2 !!!!

12 - 11 - 2007 Interview date

K1 visa -APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!

January 15, 2008 -married

Submitted docs for AOS ...but ,very unfortunately, my husband had to return back to Ukraine due to emergency without travel document (AP)
