I got this theory which is totally relevant here.

McCain will be in the office after election and then they will draft and I am the first one for the next war. So my wife comes here and I go back to middleeast.

Fedup, what if you give me a solution for this one?

I HOPE NOT!

The USCIS and NVC system has to be fixed. Really. It's a disgrace. Yes it's hard on all of us, and it was not intended to be this way, close to a year process, some are longer.

In 90s it took 90 days, and it was considered too long for a family, that's why LIFE act was signed and K3 introduced, which was taking about 60 days back then.

Lately the only positive change was the introduction of the online payment at NVC and expanded AVR messages, which is much more helpful obviously than what we had at USCIS ( I still have "pending" in USCIS case check website).

I really feel sorry for families who wait even longer than we did, that is why I feel like at least we can help each other as much as we can.

I know my process would have been much longer if not for help here.

Did NVC complete any other case besides LuLu's?

Shpat, Fedup is messing up with my business here and he closed it down (in this bad economy this is not fair). Everybody's gone and I can't sell my immigration prescription anymore.

I haven't heard of anybody getting the case complete but CHD is first in line.

Shpat, what are you doing man? Did you finish all the forms?

Updated with the couple of changes that were presented.

I forgot to call them today. The AVR is updated with the 'NVC has received your documents' message. I seem to be the only one who has actually been getting dependable AVR updates. I just want to make sure the AOS package was received too - which I'm sure it was, but Murphy's Law being what it is and all...

Spoke to the Embassy about our interview date...once you get past security, they're pretty friendly.

Had to change the date from Oct. 27th - Oct. 14 because they're doing "renovations" the week of the 27th.

For a minute I was thinking that all the money WE ALL spend on immigration is just going to waste.

One would think I'd be excited about an earlier interview date...just a little relieved is all.

Last day of work for Ring Ring is Oct. 22nd, so it still won't get her home any sooner :(

KIMF, Gracias!!!

Suerte!

Hi

I called the NVC and the operator said the DS 3032 and AOS fee bill were sent out already.

Does this mean I can generate a barcode and send the DS 3032 already?

yeah they said the same to me... spoke to over 12 operators nothing but got my hard copy in the mail 4 days after AVM said it had been issued.

Good luck, don't take it personal I think they're on to us. Makes me wonder if they have someone on the inside (vj) telling them what we're doing

The AVR says they sent out the package on 9/5/08, so I guess I can be patient and wait for it to come in the mail. I am not taking it personally, but it SUCKS when you see people who got approved after you with CASE COMPLETE at NVC and I am still trying to get an auto response from the e-mailed DS-3032... It is just frustrating...
