Yo Sir Saint Nimche the Good and Gold,

(boy if your title gets any longer you're gonna need to rent a Uhall for it.)

Just spoke to an operator at NVC...(even though I'm still waiting for PCC).

Since she didn't have any feedback on my AOS package, I asked about content of IV Package.

She said all docs should be in original language...no translation needed.

I was like, "are you sure???", she said "Yep, no translation needed".

YEAH, sounds goofy to me...but that's what I was told.

Ling Ling, that is one thing the operators do know. I am not sure if they know what is what. i sent them an official marriage certificate in english with stamps and everything, they wanted the other official one in arabic. I asked about it being translated, and three operators said it was not necessary. I was hesitant at first, but went ahead and sent it, since the translation would have taken another few days. They accepted it. NVC must have examples from each country that they can refer to if needed....NOT...that would be too easy and we know they like to make things difficult for us and for themselves. :P

So go ahead send it without translation...IF it is in the offical language of which country the consulate interview will take place. otherwise you will need to translate it into English.

Thanks LuLu,

Much appreciated...it's hard to know when to trust them.

They're like some kind of Visa Pirates....but at least they give free Spanish lessons.

Lighten up there little buckaroo.

This thread does more than just help with information...of which it offers a LOT of good answers to questions.

So maybe there is some joking once in a while. The important thing is, when people need answers, we're here.

So if you don't like it here, you can always find another thread more to your liking.

Matter of fact, you're absolutely free to start your own thread, your own forum, your own country if you want.

And as far as being RELEVANT, your timeline in your signature does nothing for statistics or to help people understand current trends.

If you're so concerned, why haven't you entered your timeline in "Immigration Timelines"?

Too busy complaining?

This is my point, either it's to help those who ask for help, or it's for chit chat and personal attacks.

What I wrote did not relate to anyone's personal issues or sense of humor and ability to deal with stress, maybe should have put that disclaimer, apparently it was offensive without.

My timeline can not be filled out, my spouse has ours filled out in her profile, and 2 timelines for 1 case are not appropriate obviously. This disclaimer probably also should be in my signature since I can not voice an opinion without finger pointing in my direction.

Let's try to focus on NVC and USCIS issues and helping newcomers to sort out the process. I am grateful that when I was new here I was able to get help and advice from those who were ahead of me in process.

Please allow me to pull the arrows out. The stress puts me on edge....I'm sure we all know what it's like to be separated from our loved ones...by the US government.

It's fcuking stressful.

Hey Rajaa, glad I could put a smile on your face.

Just remember, all of your future anniversaries will be together, and these difficult times will make them THAT MUCH BETTER.
