Ling Ling, you know that we don't speak Arabic.

*** I have a problem. I have been trying to change the embassy from Turkey to Italy. After all these letter written back and fourth they are not going to change it in our favor.

My wife was attacked and injured in Turkey and we don't want her to go to Turkey anymore.

Iran, doesn't have any American consulate therefore DOS has given us 5 other choices. Turkey,Dubai,Austria,Germany and Italy. now we got family members in Italy and it would be much easier for us to have interview at that consulate. I have talked to the consulate itself in Italy and they have no problem with it but NVC doesn't want to change it. They have asked for some sort of proof that she can go over there. Like Italian Passport, Visa, Landing permit and all those garbages. I have been discussing this with NVC for last two week and we can't get into a resolution and I asked for a supervisor for the first time and they are not avialable so I may call tomorrow.

BUT, what do you guys suggest?

****LL, I asked this lady again and she gave me something different. She said they (NVC) is collecting dox for the embassy and they want all the docs before they can process the case. She said everything is requiered and no fax or copy is acceptable. This is in your favor so you can feel better by not watching me being done with this process. i guess I will stick here with LL and shpat so we can discuss some business with his dad.

Some answers please.

but Ring Ring thought I'd get arrested

They will deport you back to Iran :D

Sorry...couldn't find a Farsi translator. :(

Damnit...NVC is starting to smell like USCIS...everybody's got a different answer.

But I kind of figured they'd need the PCC in hand to complete the case.

Sorry dude...I know what thorn the PCC is. I want you and Shpat off this damned list. Get your damned visas and get off, so "I" can be the supreme ruler,

and win the million dollar prize, bwaaaaa ha ha ha (that's my evil laugh).

As for the Consulate...I'd do Dubai given the choices...just 'cause I've never been there....supposed to have this cool sub-zero bar.

Keep pressing on for a supervisor. Keep pressing on tonight. Do your thing...SPEED dial baby!!!

Italy sounds good...is it Roma? I like Roma. That's where the guy with the funny hat lives...but he's never there when I visit....COINCIDENCE???? I think not

My latest updates:

Called again just now and because it's related to a discussed a lot PCC couldn't wait to share. I did send a copy of that, not original. My husband sent it to me 2 weeks ago, but with lot of different hiccups for me in that process it got misrouted, and almost returned to Ukraine again. I was so anxious to send everything in, and honestly was thinking that it would be lost ,that just mailed a copy of that (he send it to me by email).

And be prepared :-)) again to a new (really?? :P ) information...or misinformation :

Karla (her name) was soooo nice and not in hurry at all. She even laugh with me when I told her a story of mail adventures of our PCC, so I told her that I sent a copy, but just now got the original and can send it at any time, she told me that NOW they accepting a copy of that and it would not be a problem if everything else is fine. It were her exact words. Other then that she repeated that both AOS and 230 were just entered in a system on Friday and now under 2-4 weeks review. Soooo ,again something new about PCC?? How we survive these different answers?? :help::blush:
