I just called and was hopefully to hear that at least my AOS package was already accepted (I mean reviewed already), I am worrying because I did not send Tax Transcripts (ordered them, but it took about 8 days to send me something that I did not order -tax return of my ex husband, they, IRS, completely screwed on that..., separate story..) So I did not have guts to wait again and sent 1 year of electronic copy. However I did not get calming words from NVC other then status-mail received and staff about 2-4 weeks to review...(I sent already both I-864 and DS 230), and could not get a word about what in particular was recieved... Will cal tonight again...

By the way my AVR still states that case is not found in the system.. What a joke!

That is a Joke, truely is!

My AVR says at least they have received my DS-3032 and entered into NVC system.

NVC seems to be confusing, specially if you have a request or a complicated case there is no way for your to get a straight forward answer from these people.

Atleast you have your DS-230 filed already, I wish I had all the dox to send them.

Dear nimche...you think that to send everything in -it is a relief?? No!!! The minute you send it you feel some relief for may be 1 hour, and then you starting to count days until they receive it, enter it , worries about possible RFEs, how to find out about it fast..., and waiting for words;" case complete... Yep, you are right. But I have nothing to do here since I am totally prepared except this stupid PCC that I am still waiting for it and walking on my nerve and pissing me off now. Waiting always killed me and I am in that position again and I hate it and everyone else does as well.

I have nothing esle to do but just read and write here and make you guys crazy.

I have asked NVC to change our embassy, they have just emailed me today after freaking two weeks that they have it under review. I am not very patient with immigration process and I don't even want to be patient. I wish everyone could just do their job right and stop messing with people's life.

** How can you find about interview scheduleing for embassies? Anyone have ever tried?

Thanks

KIMF, what if you chill overthere :D

You won't be able to pay the $400 till your DS-3032 is processed, drink some water while you are waiting.

+

I recommand you to mail your DS-3230 to them, as I have found it better. I mailed them and as soon as they got it, it was processed same day.

Cheers

Hi Nimche

I will follow your advice and mail the DS 3032.

How come I was able to pay the $70 for AOS? Did I screw up?

No, They generate the AOS fee bill first. after you pay, usually in one or two days it will show as PAID. then you print out the cover sheet with barcode and include that with your I-864 package and send it in.

Note: I did send my DS-3032 express mail. I have lost so much money on immigration that $16 doesn't hurt anymore so I went ahead and paid for USPS express mail to make sure they have it ASAP to process this and day after (day they recieved it) they had it updated in their system. I think mail worked at least better for me that email. Apparently they don't have much of staff to work on emails and they are backlog with emails.

Keep us updated so at least I can track your process.

CHD thank you

Thanks Nimche

You know, because of our wierd circumstance back in 2004 we had to get marreid in Turkey. Turkish government gave us a booklet as a marriage certificate. I did ask the Turkish consulate in US to translate it and send me a certified copy but do you guys think that for DS-230 purposes would that be enough to send? Or should I send the actual booklet?

I think I should start to think something else other than immigration.

Honestly, I'm pretty relaxed about everything right now. Everything is done and in and even if we get an RFE for something its unlikely to affect our plans. I'm expecting a November interview, but even if I get an October interview I'm not going home until after our anniversary on November 24th (why make ourselves have to go through more USCIS stress to remove conditions when we're so damn close to our second anniversary anyway). Even if its December its no big deal to us. Doesn't matter to me if I spend Christmas with my family or my husband's...as long as I'm home by the end of the year I'm happy. :)

My response to issues like this is simply if in doubt, just send it in anyway. You'll get it back at the interview.

Now, makes me wonder how approval files will be moved from CSC to NVC? Do they mail them or it is all electronically?

I am tracking process base on member's timeline and I guess it will take somewhere from 1 day to 7 days for NVC to enter you case into their system. Mine is not in yet.

what number did you call to find out?

and you just entered your noa1 number?

I think it is transfred via mail caz it takes 2 weeks for nvc to do some thing on a WAC no to issue a NWD or NVC no .

If my wife was in Canada, I wouldn't mind as much but I haven't seen her for almost one year now and it sucks.

BTW, thanks for your advice about marriage certificate. What if they lose it.
