Good Morning...nice to see some of us made some progress these last few days !!! ...have a quick question regarding DS-3032...we e-mailed ours 9-1, and from reading the posts I see that hardcopy mailing is alot faster...Yenia hasn't recieved her copy in the mail yet, so she downloaded one off the web, I should be recieving the signed copy of that, along with the rest of the documents I need (minus 1 of the 3 PCCs required  ) from a mutual friend that is returning from Peru today...My question is, the signed COA form she completed doesnt have the barcode on the top, can I cut the one off the COA form I recieved and attach it to the signed copy she downloaded and mail that ???? Also, do we BOTH need to complete COA (DS-3032) forms or just her ???? I'm hoping to get her IV bill generated and paid this week as I will have the remaining PCC needed Wednesday or Thursday.....

Lars,

yes you should be able to cut the barcode off of the NVC generated DS3032 and paste it on the signed one your wife printed and signed and sent to you. If you emailed it 9/1, it might be accepted later this week...but I think the mailed one is an extra guarentee!

Only one 3032 that SHE signs. Basically with her assigning you to be the agend via the 3032, she is giving you permission to receive correspondence from the NVC instead of it being mailed to her. You will be HER agent.

Also, you have the DS230 Part I (signed by her) and II (not signed by her yet) for the IV as well as supporting documents for the NVC.

Thanks...I will paste the barcode I cut from the one to the other, I just wasn't sure if they would frown on that...I have the DS 230 part 1 signed and part 2 unsigned...I hope to get everything out this week...thanks again LuLu

I e-mailed the DS-3032 yesterday to NVC, but there was not an auto response sent, should I re-send it?

I send ours first time and didn't get an auto Respond and the next day I sent it again and got an AP in two min. I would send it again if I were you.

If you email DS3032 there is no need to sign it ? Right?

When exactly are you allowed to send it?

There is no signature in email.

You can send your DS-3032 when they generate it. Usually it will be generated same day as your AOS fee bill. So if you have your IIN, as soon as you see online that you can pay your AOS fee, you should send DS-3032.

I emailed the COA on 28th and I am yet to see a respond in my box. But as soon as I mailed the DS-3032 the AVR system was updated in the next day saying that they have received it.

Good Luck

I think some email is responded to faster ie.. gmail. versus msn... I made a special account for my husband in gmail cause i heard this and got it back right away... not sure about another one???

yeah the weekends really feel like days of no movement doesn't it?

as far as the interview goes.. typically they won't allow the USC in but i've seen it suggested to send your S/O in with your passport so they know you're outside waiting if they have any questions. Does it help? not sure I know AP for my husband will be @ 30 days though after the interview even if everything goes well.

it's like watching grass grow here.....

TANX

NVC will access the Embassy's schedule, and create an appointment for you.

Assuming you don't need to re-schedule, there should be no reason for you to contact the Embassy.

Wife is sick today, sore throat, fever, headache, runny nose...and I'm not there to take care of her.

SUCKS big time.

Sending DS-3032 before it's been generated is a waste of time...you may or may not get an auto response, but it doesn't make a difference.

Emailed DS-3032 on Aug. 27th at 7:15am

Received Auto Response on Aug. 27th at 7:18am

Received CONFIRMATION of COA Email on Aug. 27th at 7:57pm

Not only does this indicate that email works (when sent at appropriate time) but it also indicates that cases are worked on after 5pm.

As I was told by an operator, the center works weekdays until midnight. I would deduce that, if there were no actual work being done

after 5pm, they wouldn't keep the operators around until midnight.
