I just checked my email and found the reply for my COA email arrived 09/05. The mailed form was twice as fast, even with the international mailing time (3 business days vs. 1 business day from the US).

Email sucks. I sent my DS-3032 on Aug 29th and I have not recieved anything in that regard in my email account. I mailed the DS-3032 on Thursday and On Friday the next day they had it in my account and they generated the IV bill and even last night the AVR was updated.

My 230 RFE was entered into the system Sept. and is still under review. I received the hard copy in the mail yesterday and it was generated August 27. Better to speak with operator for everything.

I can't remember, could you tell us what was your RFE please?DS-230?

Sure....it is very specific to Jordan though. They wanted the "Original Marriage Contract" (note NOT marraige certificate), issued by the Sharia Court (the court that oversees Muslim Marraiges in Jordan...Christians would have to get a similar document from their church governing body). I was slightly confused as what to send when I sent in the DS230 package and figured the Original Marraige Certificate issued by a governmental office, (Civil Status and Passport Department, Ministry of Interior) clearly titled Marriage Certificate, with stamps, watermarks and embossed seal would be sufficient....go figure why they didn't accept that. The Orginal Marriage Contract that they wanted is a handwritten document signed by the judge who married us, myself, my wife and witnesses. It is entirely in Arabic and outlines dowry and what happens in case of divorce. They as well as USCIS did accept birth certificates from the same office I got the marriage certificate from.

It was entered Sept. 2 into the NVC system so hopefully I'll have case complete next week!

Thanks,.

I am so trying to skip the RFE part but I guess it can happen to anyone.

Good Luck with your case

:(

dude. you can fill out I-864 and DS230 online. Print them out and send them to her and have her sign it. That way, all she needs to do is sign them.

PS: Make sure she doesn't sign DS230 Part II. She will sign that during her interview....

Beneficiary has nothing to do with the I-864....similar to the way the Petitioner has nothing to do with the DS-230.

Crazysamurai is correct that it would be a good idea for her to send you the signed DS-230 for you to review. As USCs and LPRs, we know how the government scrutinizes

documents, and it's better to put an additional set of eyes on the DS-230 package before it goes out.

Just received the IV Package on Friday, Sept. 5th....surprisingly fast, considering that the IV Fee Bill showed paid online on Aug. 29th.

Still waiting for review of AOS package...which doesn't make a difference since we can't fcuking interview 'til Oct. 27th

Note to those that have everything in....it looks like it's taking about 10 days from receipt of everything (assuming no RFEs) to get a case complete.

I'm thinking we'll have some cases here completed by the end of the week. Good luck, so say we all.

Good Morning...nice to see some of us made some progress these last few days !!! ...have a quick question regarding DS-3032...we e-mailed ours 9-1, and from reading the posts I see that hardcopy mailing is alot faster...Yenia hasn't recieved her copy in the mail yet, so she downloaded one off the web, I should be recieving the signed copy of that, along with the rest of the documents I need (minus 1 of the 3 PCCs required  ) from a mutual friend that is returning from Peru today...My question is, the signed COA form she completed doesnt have the barcode on the top, can I cut the one off the COA form I recieved and attach it to the signed copy she downloaded and mail that ???? Also, do we BOTH need to complete COA (DS-3032) forms or just her ???? I'm hoping to get her IV bill generated and paid this week as I will have the remaining PCC needed Wednesday or Thursday.....

I have a question. When you send the DS 230, do you send Part 1 and Part 2? even though Part 2 is unsigned. I have seen it posted here somewhere that you send Part 2 also. I am confused about this.

Hi Friends

I am getting ready for a new week at the NVC. I am hoping that I will have some documents and fees generated this week.

Question:

Where do I paste the barcode that I will generate for DS 3032? Does it go on the DS-3032 itself or on the Cover sheet?

Thanks

On the DS-3032 itself. On top of the form there is a long dashed box from left to right and it says place the barcode here.

Lars,

yes you should be able to cut the barcode off of the NVC generated DS3032 and paste it on the signed one your wife printed and signed and sent to you. If you emailed it 9/1, it might be accepted later this week...but I think the mailed one is an extra guarentee!

Only one 3032 that SHE signs. Basically with her assigning you to be the agend via the 3032, she is giving you permission to receive correspondence from the NVC instead of it being mailed to her. You will be HER agent.

Also, you have the DS230 Part I (signed by her) and II (not signed by her yet) for the IV as well as supporting documents for the NVC.

If you email DS3032 there is no need to sign it ? Right?

When exactly are you allowed to send it?

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!
