spasibo Olga!

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Nimche,

The COA confirmation was received at my wife's email (well actually it's a shared email account we setup just for this process).

I did not receive a separate email at my personal email which was indicated in the COA.

As for her PCC, it'll arrive on the 12th...which is the day she was supposed to come to Chicago for a visit.

Hopefully she'll be able to get on a later flight, or else she'll arrive on the 13th.

On the 13th I'll check over her DS-230 package and express it for Monday delivery...assuming we can get to the Postal Office.

I prefer to use USPS than other express couriers...just because they're part of the Gubment.

Checkout the new sig ;)

I don't know if anyone has posted this but I would like to talk about the online processing now:

When you have your IIN and NVC case number you can use the online payment method (I told you I am smart)

When any of your bills have been generated then you pay them. After printing out the reciept and make sure the process is completed, system will show payment status "IN PROCESS".

Usually next day when you check your account again you will probably see that payment status has changed to "NOT PAID" but instead of panicing click on the "PAYMENT RECIEPTS" bottom in lower left side of the page and that will take you to another page with payment details and there you will see that your payment is "IN PROCESS" and usually after two day from the payment day that status will change to "PAID"

*Shpat, instead of relaxing listen to this instruction because I don't want you to panic in a week from now.

I paid our AOS yesterday and after checking it a few times last night it still reported "IN PROCESS", I checked again today and it said "PAID" so I went to the receipt page and it showed someone else's file...again...logged off, signed right back on and was able to print out the coversheet with barcode...plan on sending the I-864 tomorrow, and on a second note, my AOS bill and COA were generated on 8-28 and I recieved the hardcopies in the mail today (IIN included of coarse)

Thank you

Nice write-up....but how come you left out the first part...

Nimche IIN Process, Step 1: As soon as you receive your IIN, go to the online payment system and enter it. It's a lot of fun. Sometimes you'll get to see other people's cases. Keep pressing the button, day and night, or until you are able to get the message "database error". After several days/weeks/months of this fun and exciting activity, you will actually be granted an opportunity to pay your bill. But by this time you've lost your job because you haven't been in a week, maxed out your credit and debit card (and bank accounts) having PeaPod deliver food, and Dominoes deliver pizza, (oh...I live in California...so I have a certain medication delivered daily....Schpat come on by). Anyway, by the time your are actually able to use your IIN, if they haven't turned off your electricity, and internet, and if they haven't evicted you from your home, and you haven't totally broken the database, then follow the rest of my instructions.
