I'm still trying to get up to the social security office to apply for my SSN card, but it seems every time we try to make the drive the forces of nature conspire against us and create a nasty snowstorm. Guess we'll try again this week. lol. I also found out that there is a 90-day residency requirement before I can get a driver's license in ND, but I'm not too upset about that. I've never actually driven before, and who in their right mind wants to learn how in the middle of a northern winter?

We finally have good snow. Now we have to find the time.

BTW....just found out one of my first cousins was appointed to Obama's cabinet :dance:

Not that it will change our lives, but it's pretty damned cool. :)

Nice about the german car. Is it an Audi? A4? Haha, where is my photo man?

She got the car on Saturday and I am driving it :devil: She is studying hard for DMV. Does anyone here have sample questions. I know there are a small set in the back of the book but anyone has more of them?

update: hubby still waiting for Spainish residancy.........still waiting :(

Hey Rajaa-- We're still waiting for an interview... I think the cushions on the "couch" need to be fluffed! Care to help! UGHHH!!! I am reeeeaaaalllllyyyyy tired of the waiting... We still have two weeks to wait before we know if we slid into the Feb. interview stack! tick tock--tick tock! This is all sooooo frustrating! I'm ready for my hubby to here! And for you to get yours too! Guess we'll read a few magazines-from back to front just for fun, drink some chai and how about sharing a plate of mansaf!!! With some sweet biscuits for desert! lol-- hope you hear something soon!--Amy

i think that sounds really good..... i told my husband not to call me until he has good news he didn't like that idea :star: but we're waiting he says he's going to casa next week insha'allah and then a couple of weeks with family. I would feel better once he got the ticket in had :unsure:

24 days till wifey goes to the interview..hopefully they'll approve her i'm tired of waiting man...it has come to a point where i'm bored and not care about this whole sh1it process at all.
