I'll do whatever it takes... What is even more brutal is the fact our government makes it so difficult for me to be with my husband. GreenCard is here today.

Production was on Dec. 13th

Was sent from Texas Service Center on Dec. 16th and I got it in mail today Dec. 19th

I have no idea where they have found this weird picture of her which she now says that she hates it but its not recent photo. So make sure whatever photo you submit, make sure you like it.

Residece since date: POE date Nov. 21

If she gets her DL next week, she will be free and can do whatever she wants. I am happy for her.

Nicole, it is frustrating. You know if anyone understands, it is us!!!

But looking on the bright side, at least you can move forward and you have a reasonable expectation that somewhere there will be an end to all of this paperwork and worry. And then you'll get an IR-1 instead of a CR-1, too so that's a nice thing. It isn't much but it is something.

I wanted to go back to SSA to see if we can get the number, and then

have Ring Ring do her DL test. If she passes...cool. If she fails....at least she'll know what to work on.

We bought her car back in April....so I really want her to start driving it.

We drove around the neighborhood on Monday, and Wednesday night she drove home a few miles

after dinner. She's a great driver, friend, companion, lover, wife, etc.

And while she has zero plow experience, she's great with the snow blower, and making snow angels.

Ring Ring is a little upset right now because the snow is too powdery to make a snow man....but

maybe we'll go skiing this weekend.
