Thanks for clarifying that. Reason I ask is that I didn't see a place for the petitioner to put that information on the I130 (about their kids, just the beneficiaries) and was wondering where the heck the CO would have picked up the bit of information to ask you about. It could it be that the interviewer got that from the G325a? But that would surprise me as I thought that form was not scrutinized very much and some have gotten by with not filling it out properly. Just something else we can learn from your experience. Thanks again for sharing...and I hope you didn't take it as I was prying into your personal life.:)

husband's interview started 1 hour and 22 min ago no word yet.......

He'll be alright.

When I was @ mine, no electric devices were allowed including cellphone

and I had to wait for my turn to get interview for a long time,

so Ling Ling - my husband had to wait for a looooong time

without hearing from me.

1 hour and 22 min sounds quite normal.

Reda called and he told me... "baby the man asked so many questions" then he said "do you know what he said?" i said i have no idea right now (head on my hands not able to sleep) he said "your visa is approved"

Then kept his passport and said they will send him a letter in 1-2 weeks and not to open it  not sure about that I think that would be his passport... Alhamdolilah we have no AP!!!!:dance:

I think the officer was talking about the sealed Mysterious Brown Envelope.

When I got my package from embassy after interview,

I opened the package, there were four items.

My passport w CR-1 VISA

Mysterious Brown Envelope

X-ray

and a few sheets of paper in Japanese with instruction.

~do not open the brown envelope, check info on your visa if there is something wrong (like spelling) etc.

It is 9:20 pm here in Tokyo.

I will be taking off to my POE / ORD - Chicago O'Hare in 20 hours.

Ling Ling had copied everything we turned in and put in an envelope,

and the Mysterious Brown Envelope looks and weights almost the same.

I will take the copy just in case of something baaaad.

I need to make sure I don't give them Ling Ling version at customs. :-P

I've flown to ORD so many times but this time is different.

excited and nervous.

I will write and post my story after I finally get home with CR-1 visa.

Thank You All for your support. :jest:

I am such a terrible photograhper,,,

my passport and the sealed envelope were in the package @ far behind. (red/while)

#3025 My Post

needs to be corrected.

>My passport w CR-1 VISA

>Mysterious Brown Envelope

>X-ray

>and a few sheets of paper in Japanese with instruction.

>>>>>X-ray is too big to fit into the package.

they gave it back to me at the end of interview. sorry...

Anyway, passport is not in sealed envelope so

you can open the package, take out passport / sealed envelope.

The sealed envelope (in my case) was actually taped.

on that tape, there were a few stamps that says

"to be opened only by American Autorities at Port of Entry"

both in English and Japanese.

I think everything that is not sealed can be opened.
