so what are you guys doing to get ready for the interview? I went over tons of questions with him and sent him everything under the sun for pics and proofs and copies of papers

I saw the 19 days.... hard to believe wow

I'm organizing all the documents for my wife and putting them in order..i've already finished all the stuff that we've sent to VERMONT SERVICE CENTER AND NVC, next i'll be doing the pictures putting them together will take time but i'm going to get it done. I ran out of ink and paper printing all the conversations...i doubt it that they'll read them but good to have them.

I'm just trying to organize everything and show them that WE'RE NOT PLAYING !!!

Good for him/her. I am done and you are done. It would be nice to have them here ealier but this is still my world. I love it. Now I totally understand how preciouse she is and how much I love her. :devil:

Aww, you guys are almost done. I am so jealous. My husband just mailed in his original divorce decree yesterday morning, they wont get it until next week cause he sent it in regular mail. :blush: Stupid RFE.

I'm late, but good luck CHD!

I gave my husband a folder of documents to take with him to the interview but apart from that, we're not preparing in any special way. This ought to be a slam dunk. We're so married it isn't funny. Well, unless you see us naked in which case feel free to laugh. ;) I'm pretty sure that wont' come up in the interview though.

Nicole, the thing is, there's a chance the NVC will approve. And being out money now is a drag, but in 10 years your economics may be quite improved. And you have 10 years to save for the next round if you have to go that route. (That said, in 10 years you might not even want to move back to the US!)

The NVC can tell you what no lawyer can ultimately know --- whether he is indeed banned for 10 years. You know what you know about your situation but you don't know what the US Government knows. And a lawyer can't know that either. He can only give you his best judgement based on what you tell him. NVC is really the only definitive answer.

I am not really nervous, my wife is ultra paranoid. I keep telling her to relax and stuff, but she wants to learn every freaking question and answer on all of the forms I've filled out. its craaaaaazy. We got our pics, we got our telephone records, no emails(that would be a ton of paper) and her medical. I think we are set, I hope ....

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

I received my "Welcome to USA" Letter, I received on 28th Nov (dated on 18th Nov)

It took 35 days from POE To the "Welcome to USA" Letter.
