How are other people sending their packages to NVC??? Are they sending thru "regular mail" (no return reply acknowledging receiving of packet) or "register mail" (returning an acknolwedgement)?

Since all of our stuff has been mailed from Canada, regular mail would take way too long. We used a courier, which included both email notification of delivery and viewable signature confirmation.

Thanks nimche, CHD for answers!!! I sent it USPS Express. I have not waived signature, was afraid that it could get lost :-(.

Will try to call tomorrow following your advises, however today I am very upset with that situation...

05 - 16 - 2007 - Sending off of my I-129F package

10 - 16 - 2007-Got NOA2 !!!!

12 - 11 - 2007 Interview date

K1 visa -APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!

January 15, 2008 -married

Submitted docs for AOS ...but ,very unfortunately, my husband had to return back to Ukraine due to emergency without travel document (AP)

Starting K3 process ......

I keep trying to call and get the IIN and so I can send the COA but they keep telling me that nothing has been generated yet....

They have INN only after 3032 and AOS bill are generated. Otherwise you, as well as their system, would not need it.

You can wait until your 3032 and AOS fee bill are generated, then call and ask for IIN. In any case you don't even need it until you have a bill to pay, right?

Usually takes about 5 days after case # assigned I guess. Would not count the long holiday weekend though.

Not sure about the AOS package, I never got one. Was the fee bill generated? You should be able to pay online already if the IIN is generated and if you got autoresponse to 3032 e-mail.
