Thanks... found out little while ago they sent it off to the embassy yesterday. I guess it's included in that 5 pound package. lol. No more calling NVC now. YAY!! Instead it will be the embassy.

Ok so i just got off the phone with a rep at NVC, she said I can send in a copy of my birth certificate..luckily my wife has one. She's going to fax it to me..and i'll be express mailing this b1itch.

One more question..

when returning the RFE...I dont have to re-fill all I-864'S...I864A's right? i can just mail in the certificate and the case number?

oooohh forgot to tell you all: I called the NVC to ask a couple of questions, (hehe old habits die hard) I asked if they have already sent the package to the embassy and she said on the 4th so that was probably my package that has already made it there whooooot. The second I asked about the originals and she said it was all in the packet and they would send him a list if he needs anything else... similar to I think what CHD got.

sooooo now i am calling nvc to see if they'll ever update the AVM hasn't been updated since the rfe in oct....

Mr. Ling, I have a question I've got an RFE today they're saying that I need two copies of my birth certificate to show relation to my co-sponsors which are my parents, asked them if I could send them a copy instead of the original they said thats fine..but on the check list it says that i have to re-fill all I-864, I-864A forms..i called NVC they said I dont need to re-fill the I-864s I can just send the birth certificates with the case number barcode...and that should be fine.

When I submit all this new stuff with an explanation, how should I do this..any ideas?

Those people are absolutely crazy.

Send a copy of the birth certificate, along with a letter explaining that you spoke with NVC and

that you were directed to send two copies of your BC to show your relationship to your co-sponsors.

Make sure you send it with the barcode sheet (create your own if you don't have one) and send it to the "DR" address.

If you haven't sent an original copy of your BC, make sure that Mrs. Shpat has a copy for her interview.

I think EVERYBODY in August had an RFE....so now you're official.
