Oooh, so I called and guess what! They scheduled us for December 18th at 8:30 in Monteal. Too cool! So now I can leave NVC alone once and for all. I think the joy I heard in the person's voice was just that "aah, one less crazy sponsor to deal with." :jest:

I passed my immigrant visa interview today, my immigrant visa was approved. I am soooooo happy !!!!!!!

I came to the U.S. Embassy in Prague, Czech Republic at 2:30 PM, my interview was scheduled for 3:00 PM.

I went through the security check, the security guard took my cell phone and put it in the box. He gave me a badge and I could go to the consular section of the U.S.Embassy.

I took a ticket from a kiosk and waited in the immigrant visa waiting room till my number appeared on the screen.

The consul asked for my medical exam, he didn´t want to see the X-rays. Then I was told to give him my passport. The consul didn´t ask for other things cause I had already submitted all documents to the NVC. The consul went through the papers and told me to wait until my number appears on the screen once more.

I waited about 10 mins and then I was called to the counter. I signed the DS-230 Part II, the consul took my fingerprints and asked me ONLY two questions:

How many times have you been to the U.S.?

Have you overstayed your visa?

Then he told me I was approved. I spent only 45 mins at the U.S.Embassy.

See.... Calling did work! Shphat great job almost there !!!!!

Nimche congrats what a great election year to vote WOW this is a historical times and you were a part of it.

ok so ..... why do i feel weird about not calling anymore??? who am I going to call now?

Ghostbusters? lol

It is a good thing you don't have to call anyone. Hopefully the next month goes faster for you until that interview. Waiting and not being able to do anything is the hardest part. Have you got everything together for him to take to the interview yet? Maybe you can stay busy with that.

Its easy to keep busy and pass the time when you're the foreign spouse. Packing and organizing documents for the interview and packing updating everyone and packing and canceling services and packing and making travel arrangements and packing and daydreaming about your life when you get home and packing...

Yeah this is going to be the fastest month of my life. :)

S and S lol you make me laugh :jest: do i have things ready??? I've taken all of our emails since we started getting serious and printed them up had them bound and tabbed by month. Then a photo album of over 300+ pics over the months i was there with family friends and family events. I am compiling another book of letters, cards, reciepts and tickets that I've accumulated over the times with and without him and in that i will put in my phone records showing even though we're not on the computer everyday we do talk every day  maybe i can highlight the bill total for them??? lol

i am also considering sending him my journel of my visits and times away from him... a book of my life coming to know him, liking him, respecting him and loving him marrying him, and living my life alone without him.... or perhaps that is too much??

Hey, you asked who you should call! I just gave a suggestion, lol

Sounds like you are really prepared for the interview. I started a book myself but I need to do some more work on it. Lots more phone bills to add too and I know what you mean about the total!!!
