So she gets her medical, goes to the interview, and then?

At the interview she'll find out if she's approved. If so they'll either issue the visa paperwork on the spot or will courier it to her within a week (depending on your consultate) And then she is free to fly over and join you!

so so, what will I do now instead of calling NVC or USCIS?

after 9 months the NOA2 was like i hit the lottery...but when "case complete" at NVC was issued, i was like, F@CK, im glad thats over ....NOW WHAT????.......oh YEAH......INTERVIEW....duh......lol

I was getting paid to just call them up every now and then. How do you think I can afford paying for flight ticket to Italy and then Germany? none the less, I am not a Doctor I have to figuer other ways to make money but they made some Holloween customes with Rajaa's case and it wasn't my fault if your "case Complete" was delayed

Well, Dr. King was crying. I felt that there is somthing (like a big load) is off my shoulders now it was like my case was approved. Dr. if you want we can cry together but make sure you keep your 3 f.t. distance from me

While not 100% sure, I'm pretty sure that packet 3 is the interview letter and information sent by the NVC after your interview is scheduled, since its the next thing to be sent to you. Speaking of which, I received mine on Thursday...right in time for the medical on Monday (whew!). Its packet 4 that I have no idea about...unless the consulate sends you something as well after they receive your case? I'm not sure.
