not typically in middle eastern countries.. the AP takes about a month for us.

Master,

AP doesn't happen to every and all the cases in middle east. It happens if you are a guy. It might happens if you are a woman but you worked for a government agency.

I hate the AP and it sucks that some people still have to go thru this #######.

I hope it won't hurt our case.

My processing:

When I schdule my interview with consulate, they scheduled my wife's medical at the same time for the day before the interview. Basically, in Italy to my understanding they scheudle both of them at the same time and medical is one day before the interview.

In italy, interview will be schduled only for Tuesdays and Wednsdays and that is it. In our case Nov. 11th which is Tueday, consulate is close (veterans day).

I have butter-fly in my stomach running around and I can't wait till my wife is out of that country. 10 more days...

####### Nimche...I forgot about AP...but I think you'll be OK.

Is your wife's name very common?

Yeah...I can't stand the way they treat MENA.

I had a client from Iran...came in through Canada...but got stuck there until I sent a letter to the DOS saying we had business dealing with his film being shown at the University of Chicago. THEN I found out that I was probably put on somebody's watchlist...maybe that's why we got through USCIS so fast.

Lots of men get stuck in AP. My wife's name is not common at all and her name is not Arabic either. To my best of knowledge, they don't much of a Name Check in Italy and she won't be in the same system either (I am just too optimistic but I have no other choice)

So, lets all cross whatever you can for everyone to not get any bump in their way to finish line.

If we get an AP by any chance, then our life would be misirable.

I guess God loves us too much so he is trying to provide us with any experience in this life excpet being rich.

can i get some of that water plllleeeeease??? My husband is an Arabic man not a typical name or last name and he is now in spain... I am hoping we're not in the AP Black hole some are.. and Nimch, I wouldn't worry not typical for MENA women, so feel good about that.

update: Sophia the supervisor said she is getting up from her desk to get my packet once and for all... she said giver her a few days for a case complete lol whatever.

She kept apologizing over and over I think she really did feel bad i told her please if you could stop apologizing and make a difference that would be most helpful. She agreed and laughed a little.

I hope it does make a difference.

Master Rajaa,

Good days are coming. Your hubby won't get stuck in AP and you will see the happy ending.

I wish today was Nov. 10th and I was holding Mimche's hand to make sure she is with me. I should thank this system to make us suffer...

I was holding out on sending you some "No AP Water" until I got a phone :)

But after the way NVC has treated you, I'm sending you 2 cases of "Nimche's Fizzy Patience Water" and 4 cases of "No AP Water".

Congrats on getting to a supervisor with a brain and a heart.
